I'm looking for the Masterpiece Scott Bernard VFA-6H Alpha Fighter from Toynami and I can't find him anywhere.

I'd like to have one in hand when the Masterpiece Beta Fighter gets released later this year.

I've checked BBTS, KicksHobby, JRSToyworld, Digital Toys, and eBay. No luck. :(

I wouldn't bother. The QC for those things are horrible.

Yeah. I heard about the QC problems.

But on the other hand I REALLY want both the Alpha and Beta.

I thought so. But my searches didn't come up with any of those box sets.

Was the hand able to be fixed?

I really want the Alpha and Beta but the QC is scaring me a bit.

No in any way that would have made me happy. It was in 3 peaces and gluing it would have made fixed it in one position. If it wasn't the gun hand you need to be able to open and close I might have lived with it.

The whole thing disappointed me because I really love the Alfa Fighters.

    You gonna get a Beta?

I'm trying to decide on whether to get the Alpha now or hope to get it later when the Beta comes out.

If only Yamato came out with these. They'd be hella expensive but I think I would've rather paid more for a better product.

    Ebay:
I bought a blue Alpha when they were first released. Where as it's not the greatest toy I have never had any problems with broken parts.
A Beta has been my No1 dream toy for along time. I can't wait to get it.

I thought about it but I would have to get another Alfa because I sent that one back. I'm trying to cut down on spending and Joes are sucking up just about all my toy budget right now.

Yeah, but even on collectiondx he says that it isn't really worth it for the extra $230. Plus, the alpha and beta won't even stay together unless if you're holding them that way. The toynami toys aren't terrible but they certainly aren't "masterpiece" in the sense of MP-1 or MP-3; but considering the fact that you could buy almost four extra alphas for the same price I almost feel more like I'm getting ripped off by the Brave Gokin.

I'm sure it's built better but it looks to skinny to me.

The CMs from what I heard has superior build quality than the Toynami, but costs a lot. The Toynami is plagued with qc problems.

Ron, there is a japanese version of what you are looking for here.

However the quality on that one is suspect and its a gamble, most of the people who got one at Macrossworld got lemons.

The Cms from what I have read is better, but is it worth $200 more? Thats the biggest question. The linkup with the Tread and Legioss is ass on that one, from what I've read, very much like an after thought.

I might add, no one is even sure if the Toynami Beta will come out.
