I regret sleeping on Machine Wars toys when they were collecting dust at KB back in '97 after recently discovering how cool these molds were. Back in '97, I was pretty much strictly into Star Wars and Spawn figures, and hadn't been into TF toys since G1. Now I wish I had gotten the lot of these.

Does anyone remember buying these when they were out?

I picked up a few. I picked up a few primes and starcreams from Meijer's later at a discounted price.

I've only got a handful of them. I have the towtruck, one of the planes and the sandstorm mold, whose rotor is sadly broken.

I only ever did get a prime that had no mouth plate. He had a cool command center and awsome arm articulation, if I remember correctly.

I haven't seen him years. I have yet to unpack him and my BW/RiD collections from storage.

I got the whole run. Meh, I was thinking of selling them, but I'd want to get all the parts together first.

I bought Machine Wars (complete) when it came out. It was a good change from the Beasts. I was sorry Machine Wars didn't go very far.

I bought Megatron when he came out, and Starscream later at Meijers for $4.00.

    I still have Soundwave MISB.

I love Megatron/Megaplex and all the repaints that came later from that mold. It's a nice little figure, my favorite version of Megatron as a plane.

I checked out a Machine Wars Starscream at a comic shop the other day but his head had gunk on it so I passed on him. :(

I've got all the big guys, and I got the RID 2-packs, Robotmasters and BWII jets. So yeah, I remember these molds, they're awesome!

Robotmasters Mirage, especially! I forgot about him at first, dude is sculpted of WIN!

The molds for that line were pretty awesome. I own the original G1 versions of the big guys, and later issues of the smaller ones, and the molds are fantastic. Starscream / Skyquake / King Atlas is an amazing toy. Huge jet, more like a flying fortress that your typical jet mold. Great stuff.

I picked up the whole line MISB off of ebay for awsome prices over a year ago and they are very awsome figures. If you want the MW line watch ebay carefully and be patient.

I wish I had bought some back in the day when I saw them. They seemed like they weren't selling and every time I went into a K.B. Toys they had some. Sadly when I finally wanted some after getting back into Transformers they were long gone. At least R.I.D. and Universe gave us some repaints of those molds. Truly some of the best molds from that era that were overlooked.
