    Thanks! :)

I made BW/BM catalogs a few years ago and they're formatted as desktops here: Cosmic Rust

I think it would be awesome if you did one for ROBOTS IN DISGUISE. In fact, I think Tony B would marry you if you did one.

I've been planning that.... (the catalog, not the marriage)... Since I have RID & CR, thus doubles of most figures, I'm thinking about a setup for photos with figures in both modes on some diorama/backdrop thing like the 1985 catalog.

I miss these style of catalogs, it's like a lost art. I mean, seeing other toys on the back of the box is okay, but I really miss the catalogs like this. Cool work :)

Of course I had old catalogs in mind doing these... the BM ones are pretty similar to the 1987 catalog.

    How long...? tough question.

I did all the Beast ones several years ago(tied for 3rd place in an art category at Botcon'02, and they're pictured under Fan-made items in Fumihiko Akiyama's Botcon history book).

The longest part of the process is taking pictures of all the toys and then cutting each picture of each mode. Putting all the pieces together and making background graphics isn't as much time comparatively... but for the MW one it was many hours since there's lots of little pieces like the faction logos and all the little boxes and lines.

Thanks :)  I'm working on Alternators, planning RID, and hoping to do Universe and Timelines later. Perhaps eventually G2 as well. Maybe also a "Botcon/OTFCC" one, though it'll be mostly reusing pics I already worked on.

I don't plan on doing A/E/C or Japanese series like BW2/Neo since they do basically have full catalogs, though not quite in "G1" format.
