Just trying to see who changed from M-DAY.

    I know -

    Cable: Lost his telepathy
    Wolverine: Regained his memory
    Rictor: Lost his powers
    Professor X: Lost his powers

and i think, Beast: Regained longer fingers

Actually Cable losing his telepathy wasn't really due to M-Day. It was due to a seperate incident. Although he kinda has a form of telepathy back, even though its more technology based. Same goes for his telekinetic abilities.

But here's a list of mutants who were depowerd and stuff due to M-Day.

I looked at the Wikipedia entry and I only recognized about 5-10 of the de-powered mutants. That's pretty lame. Frankly, I didn't recognized all of the confirmed 136 who still have powers.

The only ones who lost powers are characters who weren't in any current books, with the exception of a couple token characters to make it look like this wasn't the massive clearance on unused mutants that it really was. And about half of those token characters have already got their powers back (Iceman and Polaris).

    Lost powers:
    Professor X
    Jubilee
    Polaris
    Rictor
    Magneto
    Quicksilver

For full listing, check that New Avengers arc with Magneto.

Then there is the third summers brother who returned as a result of M-Day. He was actually merged with another X-Man from team 1.5 namied Darwin.

Magneto has since regained his powers due to merging with Xorn. But this Xorn was a combination of all the powers lost during M-Day. The idea was that energy cannot be created or destroyed. When mutants "lost" their powers, they weren't gone because they are energy. They simply moved into one source.

Quicksilver has gained new powers by emerging himself with the Inhumans' Mists. He can now travel through time.

Wolverine has gained back his memory. And for having 2 books since then, nothing much een revealed.

    Spiderman remembers his fake family.

Don't forget Dani Moonstar. One of my favorite New Mutants. :(

And as I mentioned, Polaris got her powers back. Or at least some new powers that are really similar to the old ones. Which means that not a single current member of the X-Men was permanently depowered.

And this was never actually dealt with in any of his ongoing titles.

Yea, but he did beat the spit out of Quicksilver in Son of M. And I hope he does it again.

But come on, leaving a hanging myth for Spiderman is a mainstay now. First his missing daughter that was never brought up again, Kaine, Doc Ock actually being fine with Peter Parker, confronting the Slingers (until apparently this week), Chapter One, and I could probably find many more.
