"Number one, meet me in my ready room."

"Captain, you wanted to see me?"
"Wil, take a look at these screen shots."
"Looks to be a PSP rendition of Lunar. Captain, why am I here?"
"Dammit Will, I want to know when this game comes out... The line must me drawn HERE!"

    LOL, Nice!

"But Captain, we are about to engage the Borg."

    "Mr. LaForge, deactivate Mr. Data."

    "But.."

    "Just do it!"

This will be the game that makes me buy a PSP (again). But if the cover isn't embossed with iredescent foil I'm gonna be severly disappointed. Oh Working Designs, how you raised the bar on packaging. :p

Packaging and Freebies. I have (and always will) Arc The Lad on PS1 with hardbound manual and a crapload of other goodies. WD did do everything right when it came to giving you your money's worth on special editions.

I played the demo for it last night. It's out on the Japanese PSN store. If this is any indication of what the full game will be like, they can count me in. They did Lunar some serious justice.

Anything to wash away the stink that was the Lunar DS game.

Looking forward to having another excuse to dust off the PSP.

No, but I'm betting it will. Lunar isn't that obscure.

I can't judge the whole game based on the little demo, (and it being in Japanese), but everything seems in tact, except the new graphics are amazing and colorful as shit, as is the animation.

Yes I definitely want this. I got the demo on PSN and played through it. Good times. Only thing I didn't like was No Real overworld Map.

If memory serves, they really didn't introduce an overworld map until the second game when they gave you vehicles...?

Nah, I remember walking to the little towns, even on the PS1 remake, but definitely the Sega CD game. It's not a huge deal, since it gets you to your destination quicker, but it definitely gave you the exploring and traveling through a huge world, feeling.

I'm picking it up. I actually forked over the extra dosh for the SE, something I normally don't do, but since it's LUNAR and character designs by Toshiyuki Kubooka I made an exception.

This is tomorrow right? If PS3 is still down, I know what I'll be doing.

It's supposed to be tomorrow, though my GameStop may not get it until Wednesday. Because Lunar's not as cool as its FF brothers I guess.

Oh yeah, don't forget the demo. Apparently having completed the demo will unlock something in the final game. It's probably a bromide or a new item, but since the demo is just covers up to the end of the White Dragon Cave it's worth it.

I'm getting a hardcopy. Because I'm a consumer whore and want the Special Edition with all the pretty nicknacks. :3
