I highly doubt that there will be a new Star Wars movie. Lucas got so much guff about the last three that I think he would stay away from it.

Isn't the Daily Star a decidedly dubious source of info? This 'news' is all over the place online, but it's apparently all traced back to a blurb in the DS.

The Daily Star isn't a source of info fullstop, dubious or otherwise.

Oh well; one crappy sequel is pretty much like another. I don't hold out a lot of hope another good Indy movie; Ford's 64. What are they going to make, Indiana Jones And The Zimmer Frame Of Fear?

There is absolutely ZERO need to have an Indy IV - On Life Support with Harrison Ford.

They have a perfectly awesome opportunity to reboot the franchise with a young actor and make another one, two, three, four, etc totally new and exciting prequels or sequels or whatever.

At this point, I don't give a shit about Star Wars. I don't want it to be like that with Indy too. :(

Regardless of the source, I wouldn't trust the accuracy of an article that can't even get the name Han Solo right. Check it out, they called him Hans Solo. :lol

While the story has already been pointed out to be a fake, there are two reasons why I wouldn't rule out Lucas going back to milk the Star Wars movie line:

    1. $1,113,550,130 domestic gross in Eps I - III
    2. $2,423,713,491 worldwide gross.

Exactly, he doesn't give a shit if fanboys throw a hissy and give him "flack" as long as the movie perform well financially.

The conversation probably went like this:

Lucas: So, Harrison, I want you to reprise one of your famous roles again.

Ford: Well, let's hear it and I'll think about it.

Lucas: It's either going to be Han Solo, or Indiana Jones.

Ford: Well there's no way in Hell you're getting me back in a cockpit with Chewbacca!

    Lucas: j/k!! It's Indian Jones!

:lol  I was just going to say that asking Harrison to play Han Solo again might have been the key to make him play Indy again. From what I remember he wasn't exactly warm to the idea of playing Indy again.

Alright, we're gonna need some new blood from the next generation to play the swashbuckler. I'd need to see Harrison in there as the old master type, but whose gonna play the Hero? Surely not some hunchbacked old gray-hair with manboobs, right?
