    G'evening everyone,

This is the laziest custom I've ever done.

-Just changed his arms to a pair of blocky seeker ones and then cut some squares at the back plates in order for the arms to have full articulation.
    - Saw his legs apart and kept some space between them
    - Added crotch
    - Cut the ends of his feet in order to have room to fold down the arms in car mode.
    - Made his backpack out of some Armada Blurr missile lauchers and other random parts.

I decided keeping his eyes original pink translucet, because they look awesome this way and maybe I'll paint his shoulders yellow, but I think they look better grey instead.

No articulation to the head, because it's too small and I don't have tools to cut it off without damaging the whole thing.

Hope u like it. View attachment 27254742

Nothing lazy about it. When a GREAT build is easy, that's bonus points, not a knock on your work!

    This is a great build!

interesting! i never thought someone would actually add articulation to this figure instead of just using a different mold.

personally i think he looks a little too blocky to fit with the rest of your wreckers.
i myself went with universe 2.0 hound.

but either way, i do like the way he looks!

I like it, though I'm not familiar w/ the source character.
Also I don't recognize the base figure, what is it?

@Vidmouse:The base figure iss the character's actual G1 toy.

As far as my opinion goes,it looks cool for what it is (an articulated G1 toy),but I'm guessing he'll look kinda out of place with your wreckers.
I never actually noticed the base mold before,it does have a p.cool altmode now that I look at it.

Thank you, this one was really easy to do, had nothing in mind before starting and still finished up really quick in a few minutes. I just consider that I've been actually lazy because I could give him some paintwork, and a few extras to match his comic counterpart better, but in the end I just stared at him and said...Well, it looks good to me...LOL

Well I'm happy I did not destroy this one, he's really hard to find, even incomplete.
    Thank you!

Thanks man, my initial idea was to copy yours and other fellows who used Hound as base mould...But I hate painting, specially with bright colours and when I thought of the many rub spots all over the figure I decided sacrificing the G2 old original version instead. You see? Pure laziness! LOL

He's kinda blocky at the fist glance I reckon, but believe me, he blends really well amongst his fellows. :)  I'll post some pics as soon I finish up Pyro's head I'm working on.

Exactely, only a correction: it is actually a UK G2 release, thanks for your comments buddy.
I'll add a few pics of the team soon in a new thread so that you goys can see 'em all together.
    Thanks Vidmouse and Shinbs.

Thank you very much buddies, I'm reconsidering my impressions towards my work myself. :)
Just to ilustrate my actual status of activities, I have a custom scratchbuilt Scorponok complete and standing on the shelf and awaiting for paints since almost a couple of months ago...I've got the paints two weeks ago and still don't feel like paint him up...hehe....

:O pyro?! I'm very curious to see this! who are you using for the body?

i doesn't seem like there are THAT many rub spots on hound.. but I'm not 100% sure.
i hate painting also. all my wreckers are unpainted, kinda delaying that till most of them are done with the mods

nothing wrong with that! its a GREAT mold!
I'm thinking of using cybertron mudflap. i hate the arm kibble tho. or grapple just backwards and id make a chest piece of course.

woah! that head is AWESOME! what did you use for a base?

Dude, I've been given this piece a few years ago, It was a dowsized MP but with a different transformation, kinda weird to be honest. No clues where this came from though.

Nope, sorry...his arms were used on Impactor. All the rest of the body was totally ruined by my experiences.

    Hmm..if you're talking about the mold I think you're talking about,it's actually an oversized Robot Heroes Prime,not a downsized MP,but I ain't sure.

And Pyro's head looks great too,it fits nicely with that Botcon toy.
