So far I'm only interested in Brakedown and Jungle Iron Hide. Bludgeon looks horrible, and I could pass on Thrust as well.

 

Very cool. I want Armorhide, Dirge, and Bludgeon. That Mudflap repaint is kind of cool too. Even though I'm not particularly fond of the Ironhide mold, I think I will get the Jungle Ironhide figure. He's armed to the teeth and looks pretty cool. I hope they fix some of the issues with this mold like the chest that doesn't tab together.

 

Definitely passing on most of the repaints...Sonar is VERY tempting though...

I really want to see some clear pics of Bludgeon's face...non doctored pics would be a plus too. I'm definitely buying it but something about the head seems a little weird to me.

Dirge looks REALLY 'meh' to me. Dunno why. I'll have to see it in person, but right now I'll probably skip it.

Edit: Breakdown looks good too...good to see the Stunticons getting more love!

 

Awesome new pics. But when are we ever going to see Elita-Flare-1-Up?! You'd have thought Hasbro would've wanted to get as many on-screen characters on toyshelves before the DVD release as possible, not leaving her so far behind.


Still, we have a new mold Dirge, and that's what really counts.

 

Bludgeon is looking pretty good in this photo, now that I get a better look at his face. It's an OK, if not stellar skull-face, possibly in need of a touch-up if that little 1920s mustache is not just some trick of the lighting.

I like Dirge. That is all.

I'm thinking these "not a big change" repaints are a shift in marketing policy at Hasbro. They probably figured kids (and/or parents) like "Bumblebee" more than "sir-repaint-not-appearing-in-this-film", and they like Bumblebee to look like himself, rather than a totally different color - but smaller differences are OK. (and completists would buy it regardless)

Are they re-releasing Leader Prime with his rifle at some point? I heard something like "Buster" Optimus Prime, but haven't seen anything on it yet.

 

Buster Optimus Prime is an upcoming Takara release in November, but no word yet on a North American release.

I have no doubt that the mold (if not the paintjob) will eventually be released on this side of the ocean, though.

I've never been so excited over repaints/remolds. These look fantastic!!!

-I really want that NEST BB/SOUNDWAVE two pack. Soundwave looks amazing, and I already liked the Bumblebee.
-The Cannon Bumblebee repaint might be a go as well. I still don't have a ROTF BB, and if I get this one as well as the Nest, I'll have all the Bumblebee heads. original, battle mask, and ROTF.
- Armorhide looks really cool. The Landmine mold is excellent, and I really dig these colors. Mine.
- I loved Sonar when I first saw him, and now that I know his name he's even cooler. I've held back on depthcharge for now, but I think I might get Sonar.
-Dirge looks pretty good. Nice head sculpt.
-Legends Wheelie, Jungle Ironhide and Bludgeon are already on my list.

Everything else is pretty much a pass.

Legends:
Soundwave and Wheelie are total buys. Would've preferred Prime and Sideswipe get more than just some added/altered paint apps, but I'll pick them up completion's sake.

Scouts:
Sonar, Wideload and Brakedown=bought.

Deluxe:
Armorhide looks like he got an upgrade from the first movie! If they were going to repaint that mold into one of the scouts I would've thought we'd get Strongarm or Crosshairs, no complaints though. Dirge looks good just to round out the Seekers. Pass on the Cannon Bee repaint, Tuner Mudflap, and the Soundwave/Bee VS pack.

Voyager:
Meh on Jungle Ironhide. Sold on Bludgeon now though.

Legends: I don't normally buy Legends (the only ones I have are from Universe) but that Soundwave and Wheelie look too good to pass up. May end up being impulse buys though.

Scouts: Breakdown and Sonar are bought on sight. Wideload looks better in the photoshopped image, but the one from the ebay listing didn't look as good.

Deluxes: Will probably get the NEST two-pack just for Soundwave, but a second Bumblebee can't be too bad.

Dirge is a DELUXE? I thought it was a voyager. Bought either way.

Armorhide is SWEET. So glad they repainted Landmine, I love the figure.

Bumblebee redeco and Mudflap are a pass.

Voyagers: Bludgeon is BOUGHT. I'm loving the classics/movie look to him.

Jungle Attack Ironhide will be an impulse buy, if anything. I have the Off-Road one from the first movie, and one of that figure is enough for me.

 

Bludgeon, Ejector, Brakedown, Armorhide, and Dirge all look very cool.
