Lost Planet gets so much better in the later part of the game with the use of the robots.

I knew I loved it when I was getting chased around that square room by a giant pill bug.

The controls for the human on foot is a bit clunky though. I sort of put it in the same catagory as Second Sight. another game that has some small problems but despite them provides a wonderful experience.

I wish it got as crazy as the first one did- I remember playing that, and the last mission was more like Zone of the Enders than anything else, and I remember being floored that the game became so crazy (and wishing so hard Kojima would make ZoE3!)

This one did get cool, but not that level of awesomeness. Seeing
NEOS colony-dropping on me as I fought the last boss
was a huge OHSHIT moment though!

But if there's one thing the game really nails (aside from the awesome co-op) that the first one did well, it's the VS. Every time I get into one, I love the sounds, and the whole thing just feels so real. They aren't the typical crazy fast super-robots, they're very real feeling and controlling. And good VS fights can be very intense.

Code work. Just grabbed them myself.

They end up giving you t-shirts for both male and female, but what is disturbing is you can wear the male t-shirt, complete with muscular arms and chest on the female. It's freaky.

They probably need to carry my ass as well.
I will pay in doing Russian Dances at random times during the level to hopefully distract the enemy.

Not only fuck non-stacking achievement, fuck hidden exits. What is this? Super Mario World?

I'm in. I need any excuse to play more campaign.
Got my Go VS Force achievement last night. VS combination is sweet as hell. Wish there were more places in the campaign that allowed it.

The lack of thread participation or people on Live playing this game is blasphemous.

I'm still up for Sunday. I assume I'll have to be up rather early to catch you guys. Last weekend I logged in right as you all shut down.

Not sure which coast you're on, sir. I don't plan on getting stuck in until late afternoon, personally.

Um, so if we start at 6pm that's your midday, maybe a 7pm GMT start so you can get some lunch in would give us a fair few hours, hopefully enough to brun through chapters 1-3.
