Wait ... Turmoil? Is that the Turmoil killed by Starscream back in RID#16? How can he be saved "at the moment before death" in such a battle where Devastator was involved?

 

Maybe phase in, grab the person and phase out before being shot/stepped on/ etc? I dunno.

 

Javelin...yes Optimus even mentioned it to him after Shockwave saved him being punished for scolding the senate. 


 

 

He only needs to capture the "fading echo of the spark signature", which I'm guessing is something he can do from a small, but discrete distance?

 

The Necrobot didn't save Turmoil, the last echoes of his spark were just transmitted to one of the flowers around Starscream's statue. The names Nightbeat listed were all people Starscream had murdered; that scene's just telling us how the Necrobot made the flowers for every Cybertronian death.

 

I know. that's why I was quoting the line about only needing to capture the spark echo.

In #44 he makes references to "teleport chambers powerful enough to send me halfway across the galaxy" so that "when a blip flickers of flares, off I go". The text does seem to say that he is going to the spark's at the point of death.

I think @kmc was wondering how he could teleport into a frantic battle like the one in RID#16 to capture the echo.

 

Cloaking technology? Or since it was a frantic battle as you guys have been saying maybe he just showed up and nobody noticed you'd have to imagine he's gotten pretty good at staying out of the way after all these years of war
