Yay! I hope the cure works.

The little exchange between Nickle and Velocity did make me chuckle.

No doubt they were able to get this out quickly because of the different artist.

And boy does Coller emulate the style well.

This makes me wish it was Wednesday already...

I was about to get irritated that the conflict of the LL crew being sparkeaters is solved immediately with no issue, but then I realized all three “season finales” have involved the main cast conveniently being in a place with magic advanced super-tech that conveniently has exactly what they need. I can either hate the laziness or respect the internal consistency, so I guess I’ll choose the latter.

The glorious Coller art may also be affecting my judgement.

Well, it might seem lazy, but for now let's not forget that all three places (Luna-1, Necroworld and Mederi) are points of great interest to the overarching mystery. Or at least, I'm assuming that there will be more to it in the end, but at the least they all tie into that 'Law, Religion, Science' motif this series seem to have been running with.

Not sure if Roberts was going for this, but it's not really clear to me (which makes me assume he wasn't): the Delphi arc revolved around a virus spread around in a sort of similar way. Would've been nice to see Ratchet and First Aid do something with that.

And an injection of Casey Coller art is just what this book needed. Nice :thumb

Seriously, forget the ending of this universe and give Swerve and Misfire their own series! Also, Spinister and Ratchet.

question being did it \"cure\" the sparkeaters or just render them inert? Either way Bluestreak\'s dead.

Roberts has confirmed Bluestreak's still alive. And everyone there's calling it a cure, so I'm sure it did more than just KO them.

Coller is my favorite TF artist of all time. One thing he always nails, which sucks that it's even worth mentioning, is that I can easily tell both WHO and WHAT I am looking at. Hopefully that's a new baseline standard going forward.

I don't. Almost every other MtMtE/LL villain has survived, why shouldn't he?

    Same

Which is why I'm REALLY hoping this doesn't turn out to be some sort of brainwashing-while-with-Tyrest-and-the-real-Getaway-is-begging-to-be-set-free/killed situation which would "vindicate" him in the end.

That would be far preferable, IMO. First Aid realizing the cure as a callback to one of the earliest story arcs would be much more satisfying than, "I hacked the magic medical computers and found the cure!"

Wow, Coller's art is indistinguishable from Milne's at certain spots. Why couldn't he have been the designated fill-in?

I wish they'd found this before they foddered Bluestreak, dammit. Also, the "miracle cures" are wearing a bit thin now. The idea of a cure related to the Delphi arc would have been smarter as others have said.

I don't know if it's because everything is ending, but I'm finding my attention drifting across TF titles across the board. The Unicorn battle was done to perfection in Marvel for my tastes, I'm not sure if IDW can top it :(

Blimey, this all sounds very negative... I do love Coller's artwork, I think he's very under-utilised on TF titles. Plus I liked Nickel's little turn with the organics.

God, I hope Rodimus's fight with Getaway is good. It'll be such a missed opportunity if he doesn't Flame Out at some point.

Just hit me. If everyone had made it, Rodimus would have had 3 point one percenters, Thunderclash, Cyclonus and Drift. They'd have had a serious numbers advantage.

Holy shit Coller's art is so refreshing, I think I might hop on board for the last few issues if he's drawing.

Sadly he’s only doing this one. Jack Lawrence is doing the art for the next three issues and Brendan Cahill is doing the art for issue 24.
