I honestly think the reason they went on about the machine is that it came with aliens/activists. Since they assumed that Rodimus' crew was useless they also assumed the useless machine was a Cybertronian. Guns and tablets also serves purposes, the big tube they have never seen before probably don't, in their opinion.

Functionalism he never made sense. Especially when they can change their altmode. You are what you turn into. Okay? Than change your altmode? This universe retired altmode and when they're retired the people with those modes are executed. Why? Why not issue people new altmode than?

I get it, maybe their religion forbids it but nothing is going to convince me the council were "born" looking like that.

Functional can sorta make sense but they way it's been portrayed just makes not much sense.

That's who I thought he was referring to as well. Being that Cyclonus was the only one with I sword that I recall being in a fight last ep.

I concur with the criticisms so far, but mainly... that art. Blah.

It's awkward, it's jumbled, it's a bit amateurish. I mean, sure... the artist has skills and I hate to be discouraging, but they are not yet refined enough to carry this title, in my opinion.

To be fair, Lawrence has a tough act to follow. It's not the same without Milne.

Maybe because the functionists are hypocritical assholes?

As to the bots being chatterboxes, if you think about the fact how few pages these comics have these days, I'd rather have less pictures to the stuff that's being sad and still have lots to read when having less pages than a book that costs 3,59€ and is read in 3 minutes while I have waited an eternity for the next issue.

Rodimus since he was the only other character in the room when Drift fainted.

When I read something like "1st Cycle 3041" and Rewind repeats it as "cycle 3041" (dropping the "1st"), I think I've been wrong for years in interpreting IDW's calendar system! Because I always thought "1st Cycle 3041" is equivalent to "the 1st month of year 3041", in which cycle=month. Now according Rewind , it means the "3041th cycle, 1st year" alike?

I don't really know, but I would like to know. Or is it explained somewhere maybe? I always just read the cycles halfway because I don't know what they mean anyway, other than a different time measurement. That's like when someone writes something in inch or whatever units they use overseas and I just don't have any feeling for how much that is. It's just numbers to me. I wouldn't even notice if the cycle numbers used throughout the comics add up or if there are inconsistencies.

Is it just me, or do Anode's legs look like TR Mindwipe's?

A follow up to my own post XD

I am THRILLED that LUG is female. Not only do we have another female to add to the roster, but she isn't the "standard" curvy fembot build, she's a tiny, stocky, little backpack and I think she's catapulted herself to my top five ladies list.

I think it says something that a fair few of us(myself included) assumed Lug was male just because of her build. This is why we need more variety in our Lady bots. Keep at it IDW, you're on the right track.

I like Lug. I really hope she isn't a manifestation of Anode's grief in a attempt to cope with her death.

I'm interested in this because I sometimes need to translate them into another language. According to TFWIKI: "Roberts indicated that the first number represents a time span similar to years, while the second number is a larger span like centuries or millennia." -- May I roughly concur that 3041 cycles = several million years?

Now I wanna see a male bot with dem curves, since the bodies of cybertronians have nothing to do with their genders in this universe.

I think first season Drift had enough curves for everyone XD

But, honestly, this isn't a bad idea.

We did see some curvy male bots on Caminus in the first windblade mini-series.

I thought this was supposed to continue MTMTE's awesomeness?

Why isn't Milne drawing this? Is he drawing another book? Where can I buy it?

I completely agree with this - it's just that I'd like more dialogue and less monologue. In this preview, when they're actually talking to the functionists, it's good. When Rewind or Megatron get a big fat bubble to wax lyrical in while the enemy just floats around with his arms folded, it starts to drag a bit.
