What is going on?? This book is practically twice a month now, not that I'm complaining.

Almost as if they were trying to finish the story before a company-mandated reboot occurs...

 

It's just the book catching up to it's solicited release schedule. We know we're in the home stretch of the MTMTE/LL saga, but there are still 10 issues to go before issue #25, a comic that's being forced to wrap up a story doesn't normally get that much time to do it. For all we know the "reboot" could just be the start of a whole new story the way The Death of Optimus Prime was.

 

I agree.
IDW has created a large amount of assets in terms of continuity, character interpretations and lore. Even if there was a reboot, I bet IDW has a few annuals and special issues planned for this continuity.

 

Yeah, there's no grand significance to this rapid-fire burst of Lost Light issues, the book had just gotten really behind schedule.

This "season" probably had its length defined as ~25 from the very start. Barberts season 1 lasted 22 issues, season 2 lasted 28... Season 3 lasting 25 issues is entirely par for course. I really doubt that Barber or Roberts are having to accelerate their plans relative to when Lost Light #1 and Optimus Prime #1 came out.

Rodimus and Drift? *snicker* The fact that Rodimus dodged or perhaps ignored what Ultra Magnus implied just made me giggle.

So is the first page supposed to not have speech bubbles? Because it looks Rod and Cyclonus should be saying stuff.

Also, holy crap, a giant floating Matrix of Leadership. Maybe JRob is doing a mini-arc with Team Rodimus getting a new Matrix to replace the one that got spent in The Death of Optimus Prime and got broke in MTMTE?

 

I haven't been keeping up with the comics. Why is Rodimus purple?

I briefly panicked because the image on the home page looked like a shot from a Machinima cartoon, then I saw the title and calmed down a little.

 

Nice! Very interested to see what\'s happening. Also, what\'s the deal with the first two pages? Looks like there should be speech bubbles somewhere...

So I was wondering if anyone else felt this way? After reading the arcs that focused on the LL and the Scavengers, I feel as though that when we see the Rod crew, it's kinda underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it, but I've just become more interested in the other characters than the main cast. I'm just waiting to see how Grimlock gets out of that mess in the previous issue, and how First Aid and co. find a way to contact the others. Anyone else feel this way?

 

I just wanna see Megs again. Please. PLEASE.

 

That too. I can see why Hasbro always uses the same cast in everything. With Megatron's absence, it just feels so weird.
