I feel your pain. I got a call on the 26th telling me I wouldn't have a job after January 1st. I have some money saved up but I'd rather be using that to pay off some debt.
SHIT! And on holidays. I gotta hand it to managers - laying off people during holidays. I know I couldn't do it and be able to look myself in the mirror.
Ah, it broke her heart to do it. We're kinda like a dysfunctional family. It was beyond her control. She cried telling me. I know this is just the beginning of another chapter of my life. It's not the first job I've lost. The timing just sucks. By the end of the week, I'll have something mapped out, and an idea of what I'm gonna do. I'm just chilling and trying to get my head straight. To those that don't know me personally, that's a bit of a feat in itself. Thanks for all the responses. It is really appreciated. I guess, worst case, I can start selling my toys. Thanks again.
Ya know, since ya off ya can always come down and seeme and we can go laugh at all the people working... I know you will find abetter job by the end of the month. As for the school idea...DO IT!!!!! Ya can walsy work and go to school and better yourself. Call me when ya can bro..I miss ya and Im praying for you and the family
As others have said, its happening all over, but if you have a chance to go back to school, do it, especially now that you can apply for re-training funds, etc. Might be a good time to go if you can make if on unemployment checks..You should at least look into it if you want...Take care..Best of Luck to you and yours..
