I still think $150 bucks even if shipping included is a rip off for 2 deluxes

Typical, most got it from Bodhar between $130-140 but he's long sold out now. $150 shipped is pretty good now and I dont think you'll find him much less then that.

Oh God. Do we really need to have the "they're exclusives" talk again?

    Ebay:
    Think of em as cars.

    Retail - Ford Focus
Store Exclusives - Ford Focus X Road Limited Edition
Regular Japanese Imports - Lexus IS250
Botcon - Chevy Camaro (factory customized)
Imported Japanese Exclusives - Imported Honda NSX
    Lucky Draw - Ferrrari Enzo

Sure you could buy a Primus (house) for the price of an NSX, but it's a frickin' NSX!!!

I might have to wait till summer, when my hours increase and I start making more money again before I get Thrust and Dirge.

Then there's an easy solution to your problem.

Don't buy them. Simple as that.

low production numbers = higher individual cost to produce.

300 for all three seems about right, expensive, but if you want exclusives, you gotta pay for them

They were store exclusives, produced in very low numbers. Basically the lower the production run, the more money they cost to make.

But I thought they were made to order? As in, they took preorders to a certain date. Then whatever that number was, is the number that was made. No telling how many were actually produced.

    Or maybe I'm just wrong....

Because the Japanese website that were selling them were charging 3000 Yen each. That's 30 USD, which is before shipping (unless you can get free shipping by ordering a shitload of them). And these website were ONLY shipping to a Japanese address. So anyone not in Japan who got them had to do it through a middle man. Who was taking a cut, make no mistake.

I got mine through Bodhar. As I see it his costs.
    -3000 Yen per figure
-shipping costs to him (if any)
    -shipping costs to you
    -shipping materials
-his time to take orders and fill them later on (he said it took him several hours to make the orders, and his friends helped him fill the orders later)
    = $75 a figure or $130 a pair

I'm glad I did spend the money ($205 for Thundercracker, Thrust, and Dirge).
