ya know, the the repaint/remold of Energon Slugslinger that was never made
cheers for the help
he looked cool
I buy that repaint in a second. Is it just me or does the bot mode head look like Blurr and the close-ups of the head look like Springer?
Personally I would have preferred Brawn and Megatron over this guy; I mean unless they could find a way to fix Slugslinger's floppiness issues that mold doesn't deserve a repaint/retool as cool as Devcon.
For those not in the know, I present the rest of what would have been the OTFCC '05 exclusives. Kinda sad 3H bombed cause we never saw these. Kinda glad they did cause I'd have hated to pay for them and still never see them.
No need for me to post credits for these pics. The name of the site I saved them from is watermarked on the pics.
Awesome repaints. It's a shame we won't be getting them in retail.
I really wanted all thos repaints (except Megatron) and it's too bad we will never see them.
Wasn't there another unproduced Devcon figure using a Beast Machines mold? What's the big deal with Devcon?
i think its still funny seeing (im guessing) Defensor's head is Prime without the battle armor and Defensor's head with the battle armor.
I'd pick up Megatron.
Yeah, did they ever mention who that Energon Slugslinger repaint was supposed to be?
The original "mold" for the Devcon was Beast Machines Mirage/RID Mirage GT. BotCon 2001 featured a whole table I believe of kitbashes of the characters in the comics. That's where Cryotek originated from.
