looking for some help with my blaster

    Hi I have a G1 blaster whos cassette door wont eject.Steeljaw is stuck inside and I'd like to get him out without damaging anything.Anybody got a remedy.thanks

    Well, the easiest solution would be to dismantle Blaster and retrieve Steeljaw that way. :) 

    One bit of advice: I strongly recommend that, if you don't have a photographic memory, you take sequential pictures of what Blaster's insides look like as you remove the various bits and pieces to get to Steeljaw because he's an absolute bitch to dismantle and put back together correctly. :(

    It sounds as though the catch on the eject switch has slipped off. Be careful when you open him up, the mechanism is needlessly complicated. I think you actually need to press one of the other buttons to get the open button to even work. I do with mine, anyway.

    I think it doesn't help matters any that most Blasters were assembled incorrectly and eject switches rarely work properly anyways. :(

    This is a very common problem with Blaster.

    I've read a guide on how to open and fix him, but I can't remember where. Try a search here, if that doesn't throw up any results, try google. It had pics of how to dismantle then reassemble him, don't have it in my 'favourites' though.
