But you broke it - how can you return something you broke?

Yeah, wtf is up with that!?! Do you know how extremely pissed I was when I bought a WM-SS that was previously returned broken?

    Sell it as cannon fodder.

You know, I have to agree with the OP here. I bought a $50 toy, dropped it, it broke. I want it replaced. With all the crap Hasbro gave us about drop tests being the reason we'll never get a Ft. Max, Hell yeah, I'd want it replaced. Blame WM for putting broken shit back on the shelf.

If you have the box, there's no reason they shouldn't take it back... Tell them it was broken when you opened it (maybe mention a kid that may or may not exist?)

Are you serious? That's some integrity you have there. Sure it sucks that his MP Starscream fell and broke. But no way is it Walmart's or any other store's fault. Pulling this type of shit is the reason the honest people have to deal with stricter return policies and higher prices.
