anyone know or find a place where you can find updated versions of current shoes...or something thats the most similar.

i have New Balance 428...and i really like it...i work in it, run in it, workout in it, walk around in it...

In a totally surprising twist, Google has some results.

New Balance 428 - Google Search

Shox are my shoes of choice, although I do not run in them and have heard mixed reviews of them from a purely running standpoint. And, they'll run you quite a bit more.

    Suggested retail of $180?

I love Nike Shox and have bought a fresh pair every spring for five years, and I STILL have trouble justifying the $109-$119 they usually run me. I couldn't imagine tossing on another $50.

Get a pair of these I got a pair in the spring, awesome comfort, they don't slip off unless you want them to, and no laces. A friend of mine does all his hiking in these too.
