Hey does anyone have armada seekers that they're willing to part with? I need all 3. I don't need missiles or minicons, but do want the wings. I'd prefer not to buy unless the price is cheap. I have alot of things to trade, lmk what your looking for. thanks.

Also looking for micron legend SS, and sams club SS.

This is the Micron Legend one I have:

unfortunately, no site pics come out with this cut and paste from http://home.wanadoo.nl/argus/

scroll down the right side until it says "Micron Legend Starscream VS Armada Starscream."

In Japan Armada is known as Micron Legend. As was the case for other Transformer lines in Japan, Takara has spent quite a bit more time and effort on their toys. The toys in question are slightly more expensive then their american counterparts, but as you'll soon see, this extra charge is well worth it.

The mold for Starscream was mangled in the USA due to safety regulations. Can't have a plane that's to straight, which might be used as a stabbing weapon after all ... Yes, silly, but it's true.

luckily Japan's safety laws are slightly more realistic, so we can have a Starscream that can actually fly straight! We'll start of with a few images of the US and JP versions of the toy side by side in plane mode. Note that all the pictures the american release is on the left and the japanese version is on the right ;)

As you can see the japanese version is a lot lighter then the american version. The colors are a lot more showacurate. Especially the wings look a lot better now. The most basic paint changes are:

    - Gray to milky whitish Gray

    - Yellow on launchers to gold.

    - All red shoulders now painted to allow the wings to stand out better.

    - Canopy is now metallic.

    - Black detailing near the joint on the plane 'neck'.

    - Black ridge on wings now goes all the way.

    - One yellow square on robot mode instead of two.

    - Decepticon logo's no longer fully painted in one color.

    - WAY better overall paint application.

Now I'm sure you're still wondering what is going on with the nosecones! Its not that apparent in the above pictures after all. Here's a picture to show just what I'm talking about here.

Now that's quite some difference isn't it? Let's go to the robot mode of this baby.

This Micron toy is just sooo superior to the Armada release ;)

The only problem I have with the toy in general is the fact that even the japanese neglected the Decepticon symbols on the toys lower arms. We can't have it all can we?

Now for some other important stuff. Paperwork! Micron toys come with very cool trading cards. What's even cooler is that they've now included english translations for the stats on the tech. specs as well. Oh yes, the micron toys have SPECS!
