    Sell your collection and move on. When you will have money to spend, you'll be able to start getting some new TFs. As for now, know your priorities.

    If the MP's and Botcon figures can still fetch you what you consider a reasonable price you might consider selling them. Their values might shoot back up once the economy recovers but your job situation might also. A few hundred dollars won't make a difference but +$500 can.

    The G1 you should probably hang onto because it's hard's to know what you're getting when buying a G1 online.

    And sorry to hear about your baseball collection. Hopefully you didn't lose too much there.

    See what stuff your girlfriend owns and sell that instead.

    If you can get together enough to pay for your classes, I have to say do it. This is a hobby, college is your future. You don't want to be working at AppleBee's for the rest of your life. :) 

    You can always buy the next guy's collection a few years down the road.
