If this has been discussed before please delete but I searched and didn't see a thread on this. I am thinking of collecting the complete run of 6" transforming titaniums. I know which ones I like and either bought or wanted to purchase first. I know there was a post ranking the figures of the alternator line from best to worst, I was wondering if we could do that for this line as well just to see what people's opinions are? Any input is appreciated. Thanks. -Doug

Well I think RID Prime and Menasor/Hot Rod are nicer ones.

The only one I don't really like is G.I. Joe Megs. He falls apart if you look at him wrong. I still want a WW Skywarp too. Sigh.

The only ones I didn't buy are Soundwave cause he sucks, and Cheetor cause I've never seen him in the stores. Overall, I say they are worthcollecting even though there isn't much you can really do with them, since they tend to fall apart or shift if you look at them wrong.

G1 Magnus, Rodimus Prime, and The Fallen are the only ones (and maybe Scourge, but I never liked him to begin with) whose representations in the line are the best than in any other.

Although I'd rather have Alt Rodimus be the Rodimus Prime in my collection. He's a much cooler toy.

I realize playability isn't a huge factor with this line but for display pieces most look nice in robot mode with the stands they come with. Plus they are the only WW toy line which is a solid comic story line if you are a G1 fan like myself. Since it's been announced that the line is being discontinued I figure it's one line I could complete for under $500.

Here's the ones I have, and my thoughts.
Scourge: The best titanium IMO. Stands good, and does not fall apart.
Soundwave: Got him only because I'm a big Soundwave fan. The toy could be a lot better.
WW Thundercracker/Starscream. Good mold, though hard to pose.
    WW Fallen. Looks very good.
WW Megatron. A very good mold, and a nice display piece to go with my G1 Megs.
WW Optimus. Arms tend to come off, transform is simple.
WW Rodimus. Looks good form the front...side view needs work, but, he can hold the Matrix in his chest if you have it.

6" Titanium line is pretty decent. It has some of the very best diecast figures, and they also have the complete garbage ones as well. Prepare to dish out alot of cash if you're completing that line! :p

If they release Prowl, Grimlock or the other ones that are up in the air, snatch them up for sure.

$60?! Thats crazy! I have been able to pick up some in lots for reasonable prices (most are out of package though). So far I have Scourge, Starscream, Soundwave, Thundercracker, Fallen, Rodimus, Jetfire, and WW Optimus(IP) and original Megs(IP). I just picked up 2 G1 Magnus's for around $35 each. I think total I've gotten about $170 into them. The next one I think I'll go after is Sunstorm.

That can't be MISB. If it was, the seller got ripped, majorly.

Where would G1 Magnus and /Cheetor rank? I really like the look of G1 Magnus. Really like the fact that it looks like G1 and not just a white Prime. -Doug

When you consider that Titaniums was a way to get toy versions of certain characters/incarnations which might NEVER have been made any other way, it's a pretty nice line overall.

    Good overall:
    RiD Prime
    G1 Scourge
    BM Cheetor

    Decent with some reservations:
    WW Prime
    Rodimus Prime
    Thundercracker (& repaints)

    Meh:
    WW Megatron
    BW Optimal Optimus
    WW Jetfire
    The Fallen

    Not good:
    Soundwave
    TF/GI Joe Megatron

    don't got:
    Ultra Magnus (G1 or WW)
    Sunstorm
    SDCC Menasor
    anything not yet released (durr)

I just purchased The Fallen... he's pretty cool. The first one of my 6" Titaniums I've opened (I have a little room now).
