Here is a mock-up of a project I have been planning for a while, what you see is hydropsan approaching its full enlargement, only problem is that I made the mistake of making hollow casts of the stuff and its much too weak hold up to make a mold of. I have since recasted all the pieces as solid pours but this should give you an idea of what's to come, when all is said and done hopefully scorponok should be able to look maximus eye to eye.

On top of that, you already taking on a big guy... Geez, I hope you do it buddy!!

This has a lot of potential! Are you doing anything to improve his poseability? Zarak still gonna transform and such?

you know, i was looking at the picture tryingg to figure out what it was  That Scorponok is going to be massive.

Was going to say you might want to take a cast of it but I re-read the initial post once the shock and awe had worn off.

This guy is going to be awesome.

How are you going to deal with Zarak? It would be awesome if he were to be given better articulation.

Actually, jedi-whatsisname was successful in growing the movie concept camaro bumblebee :p

That being said, this is gonna be spectacular if you pull it off all the way.

except that I don't think he ever showed us the enlarged castings (at least not all of the pieces and not pieced together to form a complete figure). So, cefuroxx may be the first to have a complete figure enlarged and pieced together if it happens.

With the amount of hydrospan needed, the molding material needed, and the resin needed, this is going to be one expensive endeavor. Hope you pull it off.

Haven't really gotten to that point yet, will need to see how big the head grows after hydrospanning it and then seeing if I can't bash a more poseable figure into it, the scorponok fig probably won't be any more articulated than the original because I'm not that good at that type of thing.

hahaha, well I will have molds to make more when all is said and done, just depends on the time it takes to put one together and to paint it, cross your fingers.

Updated with a shot of the lower legs in their silicone mold boxes, those boxes are 8" x 4" to give you an idea of their size.

If you do make copies, you'd probably be better off mixing pigment into your casting material rather than painting the whole thing. It'll save you a lot of time, and be much more durable.

Very impressive stuff; The only real concern I have with this stuff is how much guarantee do you have that each piece will expand by exactly the same proportions? Because when you're dealing with intricate working parts, it's even more essential that they do.
