I try to avoid swearing, if I feel like swearing, I just make up a word.

For me when I'm not working or at college I'll cuss and all that around friends, but I don't like cussing in front of elders unless they start acting like an ass.

    I'm not big on swearing.
Never really felt the need too.

I swear all the time. In person, on the Internet, etc.

I used to swear alot when I was in university. Then I got into the workplace and felt I should clean up my language etc and appear more professional. As I've been working my way up the totem pole I've found that nobody swears more than directors and executives. Definitely a weird dichotomy I noticed, especially since more of the higher ups that swear are women (made me think back to my gender sociology classes and discussions of shedding your gender role, or something- generally glazed over in those classes lol)

    He really does.

I'll swear, but not in an overkill sort of way.

I have a terrible, foul mouth, but I find myself not caring. Loud and proud, bruddah.

I swear I much in real life as I do in the internet. Not that much.

Most of the time I'm not in the best place to swear, and eventually a word replaces a swear word we would say. For a while my friend and I tossed around the phrase "Fig Newtons!" for a while. It's kind of fun, actually.

This, pretty much. I feel it does not add any maturity or credibility to your statements, and is often quite unnecessary.

In real life, the most I'll do is maybe a "shit" under my breath if I drop something or hurt myself, etc. I may swear very minorly on the Internet, but not IRL.

Depends on who I'm around. If I'm around family or people I know that are easily offended by words not directed at them. Also I try not to when I'm with a customer (unless they frequently do themselves). Otherwise I just let whatever fly. The frequency and severity of my cursing is directly correlated to how upset/angry I am.

Well, to make people surprised, I say frag for fuck, slag for shit, pit spawn for devil, scrap for crap, Pit for hell, Matrix for heaven, energon-y for bloody, and I use the normal word for damn. I don't like real cursing to be honest, especially when you hear it in nearly every single sentence they say. It kind of upsets my ears for some reason.

    Cussing is wrong and distasteful.
    Undermining,
    Negative and
    Terrible.
