For me the new image revealing how he possibly might look in the film, looks ok, but what happend to the face that Josh Nizzi did. I know you all remember the CGI that that was made a while back. This is the face I thought Bay/Co were happy w/, oh well...

I'm looking at these on a 52 inch monitor with zoom function.... they're identical except for color, angle and quality

Eh... a 52 inch monitor doesn't really give you any advantage if the resolution is lower than most smaller monitors.

Still, what you said is true compared to what I am seeing. They pretty much are the same.

No, the circles are there. They're angled. So in the angled pic you see them almost dead on as circles whereas on the straight forward pic they appear more as blemishes in between the chin and helmet ends.

oh, i thought those were the lines...

well then where are the lines? to me, it seems like the green one has a solid gas mask-lookin thing, while the white one seems to be more separated into the individual lines.

or the green pic is blurry. i cant tell, but it does, to me, look different. (and if i want to be a pain, the white one has Decepticon smbols, the other doesnt :p )

EDIT:: ok, ya, now i see it-def the same (the zoom in helped alot)

I don't see any design differnces, just that one seems a bit more rounded than the other- so more of a slight stylistic difference.

    Either way- looks great.

Moy, the CGI image you're using for your comparison in the first pic is not official CGI from Paramount/Dreamworks or ILM. It was made shortly after Josh made the original fan art by a friend of his who was a 3D modeler in the video game industry (that is, before Josh's Long Haul design was ever officially part of RotF). Otherwise, from the pic Terrocon Blot posted, I'd say the final head design is pretty much the same.

While we are on the subject of Long Haul, I am having issues with his size compared to the rest of the Constructatons.

The Mining Truck that he is based on is many times larger than the Mack Truck (it would never fit on a Public Road) that is used for Mix master and the rest of them. I think Mix Master in Truck Mode would be lucky to come half way up Long Hauls Wheel, since the Movie-verse is supposed to be based on a lot more real Scale than G1.

    Food for thought.

What makes you think the scale of the vehicles will be off?
Yeah, Long Haul is way bigger than Mixmaster so what?

It's not just Mix Master he is may bigger than, its all of them (except maybe Scavenger / Demolishor). Particularly the Bull Dozer that makes his Left Leg, which should be pretty much the same size.

I'd estimate all of the other constructicons to be about the same size.
I'd only regard MixMaster as being about half the size of the rest.
