Unlike the original grey Longarm Prime action figure, why is the purple Longarm Prime action figure the only Autobot to have gold eyes than the rest of the Autobots?

 

I was wondering that too. I think the yellow just looks better with the purple body.

 

Doesn't Jetfire has yellow eyes too?

Since we're on the topic of his eyes, who think's his Longarm eyes are false eyes, while his shockwave eye (which is on his forehead in Longarm mode) is the eye he really sees through?

yeah I've thought that before. Kinda creepy.

 

I think that, but only because I think it's true. In Transwarped, when Longarm/Shockwave is right about to slam his fist onto blurr, Shockwave's eye (the red dot on Longarm's forehead) glows in the cat's eye format it's in for Decepticon mode.

 

Purple Shockwave (otherwise known as Pimp Shockwave) has to bling his eyes because he doesn't have any teeth.

 

The original Shockwave had a yellow eye, due to the design of the new Animated Shockwave, the optic was coloured red. Rather than change the colour of the lightpiping or colour over it, the Longarm mode eyes were painted to better fit in with the G1 homage.

 

Someone, I think maybe Peaugh painted the red eye yellow and it looks SOOO much cooler.
