hmmm, Monkey-controller is pretty awesome, Long Arm is sorta ok in bot mode, but has a real ice alt mode.

Payload looks to buck the drone trend by having a fantastic robot mode!

 

yyeah, if you look at the bot mode pick you can tell what they are ~ he's just slighly mistransformed in package...

 

I love a good insider joke so Long Arm will be worth every penny just because some one at Hasbro was evil enough to remember when all the speculation was flying around about which character the tow truck was. Thumbs up to who ever came up with the idea at Hasbro to make the tow truck into a character and to use the same colors so we could all enjoy the joke.

Really doesn't hurt either that I like his bot mode as well. Enough bulk, panels and a head sculpt that he will not look out of place beside of things like the Classics line. Not too crazy about the movie characters, except for Blackout, so I'm glad Hasbro included some figures for the people that might not like the movie designs. Ah, I still get to enjoy the toy hunt with everyone else.

 

Geeze... I saw the real gear controller icon for this thread and glossed right past it. Then I mis-click into it and see new toys...

Longarm looks neat, but when I look at what the paint deco does to his feet, all I can think is "Rhinoceros"  

I hope the corrugated metal detail on him is painted brushed metal instead of grey plastic.

What little is visible of Payload looks really nice, too. He's got a good silhouette, if nothing else  

 

Hmm, Payload and Dropkick maybe the first toadies worth picking up. Longarm could be interesting if I repaint it for someone (Works for a towing company.)

 

The guy who many months ago got us the first news about Swindle, Arcee and Dreadwing (before we have seen any pics of them), said there is another Deluxe Decepticon who is also in the first issue of the Prequel comic, and transforms into a SWAT truck. I think that's gonna be Payload, in the online game you can see he has some sort of symbol, police symbol perhaps, on his arms.

 

I'd imagine Payload and Barricade will be quite a team then.

Oddly Payload looks more black-ish in the prequel comic while here he's almost Purple.

I really like Payload - he looks like an odd cross between G1 Skids and Shockwave.

 

Holy hell! Longarm looks amazing! From what I can see, Payload looks pretty cool too, but it's kinda hard to tell from the little pics. High Schore 100 will be mine since I'm buying every last Real Gear Robot...not doing any other repaints, so Final Battle Jazz is automatically out...the mold isn't that great anyway so no big loss.

 

Longarm = HOIST!  

I really like these. It's too bad that they don't seem to be making the "drones" with optional heads for swapping from Autobot to Decepticon.

Looking ahead to some of the other game designs, I think I'm more excited for some of these than the actual movie bots.

Anybody else notice that the "Mixmaster" drone on the TF Wiki has got a sort of G1 Optimus thing going with his chest?

I haven't read the leaked script, but based on the trailer, the only thing it looks like Jazz "does" in the movie is get his ass handed to him by Megatron.

Personally, I'm hoping for a G1 repaint... or maybe fixing his lousy arms! (haha... not likely).

I am all over Longarm and Payload. They are sweet! Of course, the game controller real gear was already planned so he is a must have too.

 

If there's not an official one, I could totally see a Hoist/Trailbreaker pair being one of next year's Botcon sets.

Oh, and Long Arm is fantastic. I love the realistic truck mode, and the detail on the metal truck bed.

 

Wow, these are really cool. I'm loving the realistic alt modes of this line, too. It's cool to see Longarm matches a vehicle from the movie, that's fun! I'm also liking the drone figures. I have Swindle, and I think he's really neat.

 

Longarm has steel diamond plate for a chest. That's an automatic WIN   I like how he's got that entire 'I like helping!' attitidue, especially when you see his Int.
