Maybe we could get a list going of possible attendee's and also a pre-show meetup spot for some breakfast? I put in for the day off from work so I plan on going.

I haven't been to one of these in ages, though this one seems to be aimed more towards my preferences of toys. I'll totally be there!

Bump to see if there is any additional interest. Dinobot and I would like to see about getting a pre-show meetup together for anyone interested.

Yea, really good show. I found this to be better than the NJCC. Let's keep the support going and hopefully there will be more shows in the Long Island area from now on.

While the room itself was far smaller then what you'd find at Comicon, the stuff people were selling was much more concentrated on a specific era of toys. It was pretty much 90% late 70s to early 90s with a few more modern things here and there. The crowd was also smaller and the dealers were there just as much because they were fans too more then just trying to sell you things. You can also find a lot more "Online Only" retailers selling things face to face at smaller events like this since it's usually a LOT cheaper to rent space. Smaller time sellers usually give much better deals and will lower prices much easier then guys with actual brick and mortar shops.

Comicon and conventions are more for the panels and guests and just the whole "convention" atmosphere. Toy shows are all about buying, selling and just enjoying toys from specific generations.

And just for the hell of it, my haul for the day:

And my favorite item at the show:

If I wasn't living in a tiny apartment and have no money, I totally woulda brought that home with me.

I want more of these! It was hella fun, I spent way more time here then I do at more expensive conventions.

FUUUUUUUU APRIM I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE THERE!

Oh, my haul was legends Megatron(gun one), MLP, McDonald Transfomers, and comics for a $1. Too lazy to take pics.

Quickswitch one a freaking huge AT-AT lego thing in a raffle. TOTALLY JEALOUS BTW.

I thought there was a really nice selection and items from every genre and my wife and I both enjoyed the show a little more than the NJCC.

Here's my small haul and the family guy set that I won from the 12 PM raffle.

i didn't get to much, Legos for my son G2 Slag for a custom and a huge score..25th Metallic Voltron for 64 bucks. Yes, I thought I missed out on that at a reasonable price.
Next time, I want to put some customs up, I spoke to the guy who ran it and he was totally pumped.
Hopefully I can Grab some other guys and show some stuff off.

    cools stuff!
