Heh. Reminds me of the time when I was like 10 I rolled up a couple big sheets of construction paper and taped it to my right arm and ran around like I was Megatron.

That reminds me of when I tried making an R2-D2 costume out of paper and sticky tape... got a single foot done before I started wondering how I would wear the thing... it looks like you had that covered ;)

Should have put cardboard flaps over the front, though, so you could open the "chest" to reveal the Matrix!

Reminds me of when I was in kindergarden, and my mom helped me make a Optimus chest out of a cardboard box. I hate the mask and blue jeans with silver spray paint on them. Then at our Halloween party I walked around pulling my head and arms into the box like I was transforming. Good Times!

    Nice!

Reminds me of the time I made my own Autobot out of notebook paper. It transformed from a very flat car into an equally flat robot and back. All without removing and replacing any parts.

IIRC, I modeled the car mode after Sideswipe and the head design was based off of Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen.

I made a proton pack out of a cardboard box. Then later used the same box as a base for my Decepticons. I drew a large Decepticon symbol on it, and drew a robot face on the inside of one of the flaps. I would pretend that it was transforming when I opened the lid.

:lol  I had to look twice to figure out it was Prime's chest and the Matrix. Fun stuff. I definitely would have thought of that as a kid too.

When I was little I used to have a cardboard box that I drew car parts on, and I would run around with it on my back, then hide under it to 'transform'. Thinking of it now, it was kinda like Snake in MGS. Good times...

Wait, that's supposed to be prime's chest with the matrix? I thought it was a WWF championship belt.

    The Belt is cooler.

We were to lazy to do something like that, although the only thing I remember when playing Transformers, without the toys just jumping and shouting crap around, was that I was always Megatron.

Heh, I did the same thing all the time with construction paper. I made a Prime, Soundwave, the cassettes, can't remember what else right now.
