Have any of you guys considered that part, that Michael Bay and his fellas have not calculated an estimated timeline for the events where Sam's grandgrandfather "Archibald Witwicky" found Megatron???
First of all, we heard it was in the 19th century (Sorry i forgot when the date was mentioned in the movie) if I'm not wrong.

    So lets do some math.

In 2007 where the movie takes place, Sam is around 17, so he is supposed to be born 1990.
Let's say his dad was 25 when Sam was born which makes his dad's birthdate in 1965.
Let's say his grandfather became very late dad at an age of 40.
So Sam's grandfather might be born in 1925.
Now let's say his famous grandgrandfather also became dad at an age of 40 which makes him being born in 1885.

Now, even if his grandgrandpa found Megatron at 1899, he could only be a teenager. But he was already an old man displayed in the flashbacks, looking more at an age of a grandpa!

They might have meant to say Sam's Grandfather's father or Grandfather.

Sam's grandfather's father IS his grandgrandfather by the way!

And even if all previous generation were becoming dad 10 years later. It would only affect 30 years which says that his grandgrandfather was born 1855. That's still too late as his grandgrandfather was casted by someone who looked like above 70!

    Wasn't it Sam's GREAT Grandfather?

And you better turn off all the logic centers of your brain when you watch this movie because you'll want to put a rifle to your forehead.

Lets just use the generic robot phrase "does not compute" and call it a day.

Correct! Archibald is Sam's great great grandfather. Just went back and watched the classroom scene in the movie.

I like the writers because they are really nice guys but logic has never been their strong point.
