Love the blue. I didnt realize clear blue on that plastic would look so good. Amazing back story as well
Thanks everyone! As you guessed, it's the Stealth Lockdown mold, painted with Testors Clear Blue acrylic. I diluted the paint a bit, and painted every surface I could get to, inside and out. Very simple if someone wants to make their own. Just do very thin coats. I initially tried dying the figure, but the dye wouldn't take on the clear parts, only on the elbow and hip joints. Anyway, thanks again for the positive feedback! I thought I'd get more grief for rewriting the final scene, but seems everyone liked it. One last parting shot:
There are two certain things: 1) Clear TF's and Black repaints are awsum anytime. 2) You made him clear & blue! My preferred color scheme. I like it, I like it ALOT.
hes certainly done the king proud with that kirbyesque alternate ending scene and by kirby i mean jack
*sniff* that story made me cry more then the real one , this is definitely better IMO, and the custom is epic to keep up the *sniff* great work *starts crying*
Wow! If TFA's season 3 conclusion came out like this instead of the real thing that'll be a HUGE jaw dropper!
looks official. Nice work. I like the whole ninja bot thing they had in animated. especially when they went into detail with the helmet.....
The Clear Blue Lockdown looks amazing. But the backstory that you create for him makes it better. That was a very nice alternate ending for TFA (and we can continue with Prowl to S4 )
