I'm listening to a IGN Podcast and they start joking around about what movie they could prolly make next when one of them jokingly brought up A teen titans movie.

While laughing I Googled it just to find out there is a Live Action Teen titans movie currently in developement.


Personally after becoming a TT fan this year I say bring it

There were plans for one, but it got killed shortly after it started. There were also plans for an animated DtDVD conversion of the Judas Project. Perez did designs and Wolfman wrote a script, but the higher ups killed it for the time being. It was originally supposed to happen after Superman Doomsday.

So long as Raven has the same size hooters as she did in the cartoon, I'm down. Seriously, rewatch the cartoon. They're XBOX HUEG.

 

I've been a Teen Titans Fan since the cartoon came out in '03 and I REALLY hope this movie gets made!

 

I'll definitely see it if Raven's in it.

 

You'll note that all your information is from 2007. The project fell apart. There is no script or casting and no way they could make the projected date. They were also talking about a Superman/Batman and Justice League movies. All fell apart. They are currently redrafting almost all the movies. Though Marv Wolfman and Geoff Johns are producers/consultants on several. This was only announced a month or so ago, so it will be a while before we see headway.

Currently Titans isn't even one of the ones considered. Right now they are trying to find a location to film Green Lantern, and deciding if they want to make Supermax and the Flash. Wonder woman has almost been made 4 times now even having casting and 3 directors but it too fell apart. The movie that became Superman Returns was in various production phases for 10+ years. Before they got around to make it after blowing over 50 million in preproduction on 3 different movies with 3 different directors. Before they even hired Bryan Singer. The two producer with the rights to Superman are currently suing each other. So no go there. The WB likes to drag their feet when it comes to superheroes, unless it's Batman.
