QFT, except I'll see it 3 times and by the DVD for when it comes out. I might even skip Live free/Die hard. They're not dolls, they're action figures. Nice to see the FE explosion wasn't too big, but buddy spazzing out the window and Bruces one-liner were just a little cheesy.
In my opinion, the problem is not that the film is PG-13, but rather what that probably means for the quality of the film. The last time 20th Century Fox took one of the R-rated franchises and released a PG-13 sequel, (Alien vs Predator), it was an 88 minute shitfest. The most likely scenario there, and here, is that Fox knows the film is shit, and needs to get as many buts in seats as possible. Couple that with the reports about major reworkings of the film's last act, and the rather mediocre-to-poor reviews rolling in to Aintitcool, and things just aren't looking very good for Mr. John McClaine.
Yeah that's one of the things I saw that I didn't like either. That guy couldn't act in those commercials (the nerdy guy was the star) and it makes me wonder if he can act for this movie. Either way, I still don't like him.
Well ainitcool never had anything nice to say about our Bay (Transformers) movie either.... let alone any movie I've ever seen discussed there so I don't know why anyone would put too much stock in what they have to say. Even Murphy hates that site with a passion.
The 8 mins didn't really convince me, actually. Where the heck did the C4 magically come from? It all seemed like lots of stuff I've seen before. Did that dude get shot like three times and just keep on getting up? Was he the Terminator?
