Can't wait to see what people do with the new game types. With as amazing as people got with the current tool set, I can only imagine some truly interesting new stuff. Please, please offer the ability to download and store levels.

I guess this answers my question of whether I should get the first one.

    That wasn't actually a stab-in-the-dark prediction, Opticron.

    Anyways. GLEE.

Yeah I really want the ability to store levels in my own hard drive as files. I know you can access them at almost any times, but I would like to be able to download my favorite user-created levels to my machine.

Some other bits that might have not been mentioned in this link (but was available in Game informer) was the ability to use your own voice for Voice over, character voices, SFX, etc etc.

You can make an entire level a movie, so you can create your own cinematics without faking it. The player will be informed ahead of time that you are watching a short movie instead of playing a level.

This one is kinda cool, but you can print out people's LOGO's and flash them in front of eyetoys and access all their work.

This one is a huge one and it's kinda touched on in the video. You can create a Car or Rocket for example, and you can assign a control scheme to it. So you can assign the Xbutton to Rockets, and the Triangle to Lasers... so one object can be controlled and used by the same player (hence the example of shooters and driving games, without the need for simple R1 controls).

They gave example of creating the perfect Mario clone by developing the right physics and controls to make it WORK like a Mario game.

Can't wait to see more of the gameplay mechanics. It seems that they added a lot of features for designing levels/games.

I wonder if they'll bring the levels created on the first game over to the new game.

On top of this, they said that because of their new engine, the older levels will get a little graphical upgrade too.

I wonder if (with those birds eye view racing levels) we can use that birds eye view for other mechanics... I'm thinking Legend of Zelda-type Adventure games with massive olverworlds. If so.... faint.

Hot damn, looking forward to playing this... Loved the first game, had so much fun playing it with my roommates, and the new features they're adding look so appealing... There's gonna be some crazy levels made when this hits the streets!

Yeah this got me to play pt one again last night. The lady and played an awesome level that some guy made where you go on a little vacation. The shit these people have done with the level creator is amazing. We were riding jet skis and dolphins were swimming next to us, lol.
