Limbo City; for what it whas worth (don't think a single issue whas ever published of it) looked pretty groovy. Darkminds is heavily raved about by some of my friends. Warlands whas also pretty popular once upon a time; but it whas degenerated to the Lodoss War-Warcraft-Warhammer rip-off that it whas eventually. Anyway. Weekly american comics. NOW, finally you will experience TRUE pacing for the trades. Such things need weeklys to pull off correctly.
Hasbro of course probably got ownership of well... THEIR property before it ever got to auction. I don't know the law on ownership of unpublished content regarding licensed characters, but if IDW wants it, theyd better bone up on their legalese. "52" sounds like it could be interesting and potentially expensive. I wonder if there'll be month by month TPB's or something of the sort.
Why spend that much? I'm sure the fuzz in the bottom of your metallic pockets will be more then enougth.
Not month-by-month TPS. Look at how they do it in the land of the rising sun. One collective volume every third month. Otherwise it would only sum up to like... 80 pages or so. Then again; I wonder if they will be colored. That would rack up the price a bit so then they'd probably go for monthlies. But colored weekly issues 0_o... Hmm... Wonder what kind of colorist signs up for that job. I figure "52" are black and white deals. =)
It'll probably be a rotating crew of workers all around the board, as much as it will be a rotating cast of characters. I highly doubt it will be B&W.
