    Oh joy, another tigermegatron thread.

How is it that you've put MP Rodimus Prime on this list when you can't possibly have even touched the toy yet?

Geez...you're really making up for lost time aren't you?

I can't really think of a toy that just blows my mind. I find every mold to have it's own unique characteristics.

Why did you put MP Rodimus on the list? For all we know that toy can be a POS; it just looks good.

A few is usually three, four max. You have about twenty.

So a few that I think are just fantastic...

-Classics Sideswipe (or any coloration thereof). Great toy, awesome poseability, and you can get it in almost any color you could want.
-RID Rail Racer. One of the last few combiners we had with unique, individual bots to makeup the combiner AND it is extremely poseable.
-Universe 1.0 Nemesis Prime. Looks like Death-Incarnate when transformed. Also, he can ride his own alt mode.

    Energon Galvatron

Classics Ultra Magnus + City Commander Armor

Classics Optimus Prime (got me back into Tformers)

G1 Soundwave (will they ever make a better mold for him? I doubt it)

Classics Starscream (and by extension all the seekers - incredible homage and improvement)

    Medium-large handful of awesome:

    BW Fuzor Silverbolt
    BW 10th Anniversary (Cybertron) Megatron
    BM Blackarachnia
    Armada 'Bendy' Optimus Prime
    Energon Starscream
    Energon Grimlock (no, YOU'RE wrong!)
    Classics Bumblebee
    Classics Optimus Prime
    Universe Hound
Universe Roadbuster (especially with a mod-kit)
    Animated Bulkhead (leader class)
    Animated Arcee
    ROTF Bludgeon
    Masterpiece Grimlock

    Almost made the cut:
BW TM Megatron (unfortunately developed a penchant for crumbling to dust)
BM Ultra Jetstorm (There's that chrome blue paint - that keeps trying to leave)
Animated Jetpack Bumblebee (hard to call something exceptionally good if half-to two-thirds of the toy's mass is something I couldn't give a crap about)
    Generations/RTS Jazz (not released yet. :)  )

From a chock full of awesomeness perspective:

    BWNeo Big Convoy
    Car Robots Brave Maximus
    Legends Cosmos

    Yeah okay, I'll bite.

Universe/Henkei Hound: Single best mold thus far in the line, in my mind. You have other good molds like Starscream and Rodimus, but Starscream honestly just seems like a natural progression up from the Robot Masters design. The same with Rodimus. Great toy. But great by 2006 design, unfortunately.

And honestly, I think Hound stands out most in the line. The Lamborghini mold and Cyclonus get a lot of love, but they just seems... overrated a bit.

This may just be me here, but I can't list a Masterpiece figure as going "beyond exceptional." It's called Masterpiece. I expect them to be the best of the best.

I agree - Hound is a brilliant update of his G1 self.

Also, let's not forget Mirage - ridiculously poseable, another awesome update.

And my personal favorites, R.I.D Landfill and Rail Racer - 'nuff said

    Edit: And Generations Drift, duh!

    Well... Of what I own:
    G1 Optimus Prime.
The G1 Dinobots. They have awesome amounts of tech detail, they're very durable, and they turn into awesome robot dinosaurs. Also, Sludge has fully functional robot-mode legs.
G1 Galvatron. Unlike the other TFTM new-mold characters, who have less articulation than the Diaclone-derived toys and have no excuse, Galvatron is AWESOMELY articulated.
Cybertron Leader-class Optimus Prime and Cybertron Leader-class Megatron.
Cybertron Metroplex. Altmode is functional, and robot mode kicks your ass.
    Cybertron Vector Prime
    Cybertron Brakedown
Cybertron Scattorshot. Avoids the problems suffered by all multiple-rocket system TFs who came before.
Universe 2.0 Cyclonus. Wonderful, wonderful design update. A pity they blew it with the rest of the unholy trinity.

Hmm. Not much love for Masterpiece MP-01 Convoy. Gonna flame the whole Takara/Hasbro uh, flames here but every Hasbro MP release has been inferior to the Takara release. Short smokestacks? Blunted tailfin tips?

'Exceptional' doesn't mean 'not as good as' IMO.

Other than MP 01, I'd have to say CR Super Fire Convoy (again the RID release had crappier plastic), Beast Machines Obsidian and Beast Machines Spy streak.

I'm sure there are more but only these spring to mind at the moment.
