Tell me how you feel about the Sonic The Hedgehog
I feel that that's Shadow the Hedgehog.
I know I just put that picture because shadow is cool
I think I will take my chances with this thread...I rather enjoyed the Sonic games during the 16-bit era...after that - nah.
well the dreamcast games were good and I loved Sonic (2006) And Shadow The Hedgehog
I enjoyed the current ds version
I enjoy The DS Games and the New Wii games
The Sonic games since their transition to 3D has been nothing more than utter shit, IMO. Play Sonic Adventures 1 and 2, Sonic Heroes, and every other 3D Sonic game. You'll get what I mean.
Don't even get me started on Sonic Riders...
People Should respect Sonic Adventure 1 and 2
Megadrive/Genesis Sonic = teh win
Dreamcast/PS2/etc Sonic = fail
DS Sonic = back to the good ole days.
Based on your thoughts on the Transformers movie game and the now the fact that you love the worst game that came out in 2006, Sonic the Hedgehog, I can surmise that you really like games with horrible camera angles, floaty controls, and repetetive level structures that rely entirely on name recognition for sales.
Seriously, you started two threads praising what I consider to be the two worst releases in recent memory. The Transformers movie game and Sonic the Hedgehog are right at the bottom of my list.
What did you like about Sonic?
The fact that you couldn't see 90% of the enemies that attacked you, the fact that the environments were full of glitches, the townspeople that would give you pointless missions while saying "Unhh.." or the incredibly long load times?
Nothing like a game that takes over a minute to load the exact same environment you were already in.
I played the Gamecube ports of those, and both of them SUCKED. The character's voices were annoying as hell, the camera angles were messed up, you couldn't see where you were going, you couldn't UNDERSTAND what the hell was going on, and the controls were god awful.
You, kid, have weird taste in video games. Me? I'm more of a Mario man.
That's pretty much what I was about to say myself.
Oh, and FYI, Shadow the Hedgehog is pretty much one of the worst video games out there. Not up to E.T. or Superman 64, but still pretty bad.
I love Sonic Adventure(s), the only problem with it was it was too linear. I don't know about any of the new games, as I've avoided them like the plague. I have been utterly digusted with Sega since they destroyed the Phantasy Star Online franchise with that piece of garbage PSO: Yu Gi Oh...I mean PSO: 3. I was a big Dreamcast fan, and it seams since it's death Sega has been irrelevant.
I loved Sonic from the 16 bit days, and I thought Adventure was just ok, and everything since, besides the DS Rush series, has been pretty shoddy and felt almost neglected by it's developers. The first Rush game was ok but all the cheap deaths (falling off a platform into nothingness) drove me crazy sometimes. I plan on getting Rush Adventure soon.
Old skool Sonic FTW.
just to let you know i'm a Hardcore Sonic fan
I don't care what Mario Fans say because they a bunch of dumbasses
I DON'T CARE ABOUT CRAPPY CAMERA ANGLES OR GLITCHES
All that matters is I'm a sonic fan and like all his games!!! (exept for Sonic Shuffle that game sucked)
@ the hostile comments.
I enjoyed Sonic when he was pure Sega material. Now that Sega does only software, I feel that any game Sonic is mixed in with Mario just makes him Mario's bitch
Old School Sonic = Great
Sonic Adventure 2 = Good
Sonic for 360/PS3 = from what I played in the demo, not so good
Sonic Wii = OK at first but really pissed me off with level design later on and trying to get gold was insane. I gave up on it. It is the one Wii game I've played where I actually got so mad I through the Wii-Mote across the room.
Sonic in Smash Bros. Brawl = should be great
As for the character himself, he is great. Shadow isn't that bad either. The Mario comment on the other hand was uncalled for.
