So I know that there a lot of LED versions out for Ravage. I also know a lot of us aren't stars with soldering. So I made one with a Lego Lightbrick. They used to come in the EXO force line and are basicly a LEGO brick that is transparent, holds a battery, red LED, a push switch and a whole to put the tube in. The tube lights up a bit and the end lights up a lot It looks like this: It cut the lightbrick a lot smaller. You can take of a lot! It fits in the chest now I didn't need to joint the neck, because the tube joints the head with the body. Here I pulled in out a bit: Normally the head is against the chest and you dont see the tube. If I turn this screw it pushes the button and the light goes on I hope this helps some of you! Be sure to buy LEGO parts on bricklink.com! It is sort of a LEGO E-bay where you can buy separate parts, also joints you could use for combiners..
Great idea! I love using Lego-parts in my customs as well, nice to see you've hidden yours. Camouflaging lego parts is THE key (I'm guilty of occasionally leaving one exposed, and I always kind of regret it) And yeah, Bricklink is GREAT! I stocked up on lego-ratchet joint blocks a while back, cost me very little and I still have a ton of 'em D/L
Not bad, not bad! And hey, the bendy-neck is screen accurate. Didn't Bumblebee, like, tear out Ravage's spine? "Give me your face, neck, and everything from your shoulders to your coccyx!!"
AWESOME!!! Do you know what set this lego "light brick" came in? EDIT.... Ah! I actuall own the set but never opened it!
Especially plugs and joints are great. LEGO is expensive, but the quality of the plastic is really high grade. I thought I mentioned bricklink.com once more. Often I read about people getting complete sets of Knights and Exoforce when you can get just the parts you need on bricklink. Almost every set of Exoforce except for the smallest ones have lightbrick, but the line is cancelled I think. I paid 1 dollar for a lichtbrick in bricklink. You should get them there.
