I remember several months back, someone posted a tutorial (or 2) on how to build the perfect light box or light tent for photographing. He used pvc pipes and the cost was very low.

I tried searching, but can't seem to find the post. Can someone who knows what I speak of, please post a link?! much appreciated.

I was gonna make one too...but then I found one a Walmart for $48....comes with a fold up lightbox, two lights, and a mini tripod for your camera, all fits in it own self contained carrying case....pretty neat too :thumb

No prob.....if you wanna see the diff from taking pics with and without a lightbox, click the link to my photobucket, look at Alt Plowking's album, and then look at Alt Nemesis Predaking's album at my account

Same camera, same settings on the camera, I just used the lightbox kit on Alt. NP....first time using it for a photoshoot of a custom....and I love the better results :D

I really wished I had the necessary space to have a photo booth to be stationary. Until then, I'll just rely on the ye old posterboard and the kitchen table. :)

there's a crapload on Ebay, various sizes, and most of 'em fold up neatly so you can put them anywhere for storage. many come with multiple sizes together, and most have lights too.

I prchased the one from Walmart for $49.00 bucks as well but I`m not too happy with it. I still get some glare that hides some detail work. I may try to customize one myself.
