Oh! He was King Arthur in Once Upon a Time. Liked him in the show so I'd be okay to see him play King Arthur again.

I kinda hope this happens purely because the continuity nerd in me will then retroactively make the TF films the far future of the Camelot continuity on OUAT.

This makes me now want to see crossover pics and videos of OUAT and the TF movies.

I'm pretty sure TF was already in the OUAT continuity. Emma Swan's car is Bumblebee after all.

I'm numb to these movies they're so bad. Why not cast a few actors to play some of the My Little Pony characters to add to the mix while you're at it Bay? God he sux.

Now I want them to take it one step further and actually make it his OUAT version of the character, mainly because that King Arthur is currently ruler of the Underworld. How sick would that be with giant robots?

He's been cast for months, they are only annoucing him right now, this happens with EVERY MOVIE, for example Marvel there are some casting that we dont learn about till months later, for example we didnt knew Alfre Woodard was in Civil War till just weeks before the premiere

See it's fine for a 98 episode show to have a ye olde times episode, but a big blockbuster movies (that's done this exact ancient aliens plot 3 times now) it's no good dude.

To be fair it's not like they're going to follow the episode exactly. They may just take elements from it but the movie will mostly do it's own thing so it won't have the more insane stuff the original episode had.

I don't find the knights and King Arthur all that ridiculous compared to a lot of things in the franchise. We even got them previously (though, I never imagined that episode would be adapted of all things... but then again, so was "Changing Gears.") In the franchise, we have had cubes that can grant life, weird doodads that bestow a "Prime" label and can make a robot grow, keys that can power up machines and awaken the dead, giant planet-eating planet robots, and the list kind of goes on. If this movie acknowledges its ridiculousness and embraces it, I think it can at least be entertaining.
