Chrome gives the chest a nice touch.

 

that was a very easy decision to make. now, bring on legends overlord and lets bring masterforce forward into the 2nd decade of the 21st century.

Sure, but by now any serious collector should know to expect it, this kind of gift set has been the norm for TT's marketing strategy for years.

Chrome!? oh my... I think come pay day I'm going to be buying myself a little treat.... shame release day is 6 months away

to people thinking that this some how makes their regular versions worse keep in mind these are also aimed at kids so for parents to spend the extra you need to show it's got some extra value the new heads and chrome are for that. They are the same toys and you will get the same product.

Also this isn't new. GodFire Convoy had clear parts and a sword from FortMax. ML Magna Convoy had a clear Overload, Sonic Convoy had a Bumblebee headed rumble drone, chrome and clear parts. So there is quite a tradition of premium gift sets and that's why waiting is smart unless you dont care about these kinda things.

 

No chrome on Ginrai's thighs? I'll stick with LG-35 & 42. Great looking set though.

 

I'm more impressed by the clear windows than the chrome. If I didn't already get both ginrai and godbomber I'd buy this, but nothing here is good enough for me to want to buy the whole thing all over again.

 

Love the look on it. Wonder how the box set will look like.

 

man-oh-man i thought i could safely ignore this then they go and make the windows clear (my biggest peeve with Super Ginrai) and the combined form chest chrome....  

 

I like the addition of chrome, but I'm not gaga over tiny Titan Masters without their own bodies, so those aren't enough to get me to pick up this set since I already own the Legends versions. Thankfully my LG versions largely avoid any floppiness issues others dealt with, but hopefully any scooping this set get nice & tight versions here.

 

Although I wanted a chromed front for Power-Bomber, it's not enough to make me buy this again. Two little headmasters without proper bodies is in no way enticing enough. Bakara should have given Ginrai chromed upper thighs, silver stripes down the trailer, etc. As is, I can't see any real reason to get this, especially as I've already bought/pre-ordered the PE upgrade kits.

 

Wake me when the Fire Guts set happens.

I want to get this for Cab & Minerva.
I was originally going to get the retail Godbomber to go with Magnus Prime from the boxset once i\'d gotten that but i\'m not sure what i\'m going to do.

 

That chrome's a bit much, I think I'll go for a retail one or a Hasbro version if it happens.
