    Dear People at Hasbro

Thanks you for make the new Transformers: Prime toy line the figures appear to be great so far, keep up the good work.

Just one thing...a crappy cardboard box is 'not', I repeat, 'Not' a stand no matter what you tell us.

Whats more have you even tried to stand the figures on any of the boxes you call stands?
    No you didn't did you.
    They just fall off.
You just decided to print 'includes display stand' on the packaging and think that was enough.
Making us all think you were making actual proper plastic display stand.

And seriously enough with the weird shaped boxes.

    Yours

That isn't the main reason you buy the toy, and it's still a stand, even if it is crap.

Using things like "Wayyyyyy" is a sure-fire way to tell Hasbro how to not take the letter seriously.

Addressing them as "people at Hasbro" is also not very professional.

Using language like "crappy" isn't descriptive and will not actual convey to them any specific issues.

Saying things like "no you didn't did you" is an assumption that is insulting to Hasbro. When that's the party that have the power to change things, I would not address them in a letter in such a fashion.

All in all, even if your letter was serious, they probably will send you the generic response. However, it being grammatically flawed, and coerse and unprofessional wording will certainly not get them to consider anything for real.

Please don't tell me this is real. If it is, I can see Hasbro's CS laughing their asses off.

    ^this.
If you want to be taken seriously, you got to appear to be serious in an adult fashion.

Assuming this is fake, I wouldn't be surprised if someone wrote a similar letter to Hasbro, expecting their complaint to be taken seriously.

I don't see the big deal about the lack of "actual" stands. Unless the character character flies, I've felt that stands are overrated anyway. Also, I like the new Voyager boxes! Very visually striking, IMO.

Working in customer service, I can honestly say that we like to save weird contact like this just to share it and have a laugh when new people come in. I'm sure this would be no different for Hasbro's cs team! :D

No, its not a real letter and No I didn't send it.

Its a parody, a joke, a humorous exchange highlighting the absurdity of the item in question.

The only point was really trying to make was if you're going to call a cardboard box a figure stand you might want to make sure the figure can actually stand on it without falling off.

It doesn't detract from the figure as is sits with the packaging in the rubbish bin.

Its a good thing when the only thing you can really moan about with a figure is the packaging.
I'm not sure how the managed to do what they did with Bulkhead...I think there may be some magic involved.

And the amount of balance they have is amazing. when you can stand a figure on its own on one foot you really don't need a stand anyway

    *Ahem*

I have been sarcastically lighthearted through this entire thread. Now excuse me, I'm going to go whip up a big ol' batch of annoying histrionics cookies to share with you all.

But he did point out the issue: the figures can't stand on the stand. Understand? :)  And I agree with him, the stands are as silly as they are shitty. On the ones I got, the bottom of the stand was slightly rounded, making the stand unstable and the figure impossible to balance.

That letter was fake? Damn it. I was hoping I'd have the opportunity to sign a petition for better display stands.
