Oh no, I'm not sure DOTM will beat The Smurfs or let alone Cars 2.

The other films that will also be a good battle at the box office will be Super 8 (possibly), Thor, Pirates and Captain America.

(I don't see Fast Five on that list)

DOTM has too much against it. So considering the competition Bay/Hasbro/ILM have better got something really cool to show us this time, almost like mind blowing.

TF1 gave rise to something unimaginable on the screen, so DOTM hopefully will bring some of that magic once more, and only then will Transformers be a great hit at the box office once more.

Voted for DOTM. It's now in second place in the poll with 16.6%; naturally, Harry Potter is in first place with 20.1%.

Voted for HP-DHp2. Easily the movie I'm most anticipating this year. Chances are I'll see it at least twice, if not as many times as I can justify, lol. At this point I'm not entirely sure I'll even go see DotM at theaters. I might just wait for it to come out on DVD, buy the cheapest copy available, and then see it for the first time. Maybe even wait for the DVD prices to drop a bit before doing so.

I wonder what are you doing in the movie forum then. :)

And I'm going to trust Michael and I'll see the movie in 3D. As he said this movie is meant to be seen on the big screen in 3D.

Sorry but right now Potter is the only film that I can honestly say I'm looking forward to enough that I just have to buy a theater ticket on opening weekend. I've followed the characters too long and I want see how the ending differs from the book so much that I can't pass it up.

Lots of huge films this summer and lots of nice trailers, but I'm just not feeling like I'd have to rush out and see them. Just feels like I've been burned too many times by Hollywood so it's hard to get excited about new releases.

I'm thinking I'm just not a movie person any more because unless something is really flawed with Your Highness it will be the first movie I've seen at the theater this year. Most movies only seem worth a rental these days.

Umm...because I enjoy the movie's? Don't love them, but I do enjoy them. They're especially nice for those nights you just want to sit back, turn of your brain, and watch some good action sequences. If I can see it without seeing it in 3D, that might push me to see it in theaters. However if the only option is to see it in 3D, I'll definitely be waiting for the DVD release.

I love the HP books, but I've always had mixed reactions to the movies and never anticipate them or get hyped for them. Too much missing material.

I'm hyped (but skeptical) for DOTM and X-Men: 1st Class.

I'm tentatively hopeful with Pirates (after not liking the sequels), seeing Cowboys & Aliens for Ford and Craig, I'm not sure about Green Lantern and Captain America, will wait for the Hangover part two on dvd, and have no interest in anything else listed.

DOTM is at my number one, just because of that fact that everyone involved in it, including Bay, seem genuine in their intent to make it the best out of the three. Still, I am highly anticipating Green Lantern and Rise of the Apes, too.

I voted DOTM so that it'll at least stay in second place. But I'm glad the final HP movie is in first. I can't wait for DOTM, but I'm DYING to see the final Harry Potter film!

Not that it means much, but I voted for DOTM. Interestingly it now has 19% of the vote and Harry Potter only has 19.8%.

You already have one and two TV spots to decide on.
