I've never done one before, but can someone who has help out? According to the SDCC season 3 has not been picked up yet. We need to tell CN how much we love this show.

That is the problem, some have said that CN has given the greenlight for
Season 3 and some believe CN will cancel the show altogether. Which one
    is true?

It fails because petitions NEVER work.

Personally I think they're just waiting for at least most of the animation and voice work to be done before they announce it. Just in case something terrible happens before they can finish the Season, or at least most of it.

what's with the fail? besides being really rude, i don't think its a bad idea at all. unless you say something, how will a big company ever know?

Unfortunately, the best way to have guaranteed a Season 3 is now out of your hands. The best bet would have been to get more people to watch the show. If they are still undecided about Season 3, it likely means Seasons 1 & 2 were not pulling in the expected (or desired) ratings.

The stuff you're seeing now was created over a year ago. These toys were finalized before the first episode of Animated ever aired.

How many complaints is that now about CN? Cartoon Network hasn't been good since Toonami, now they're considering about ending Animated so soon? Has season 3 even been announded yet? Is it even in production?

But seriously, how well did TF Animated do in the first place? Did it do well enough to get a third season? From the way I see it, I think so; but I can't confirm that. I just hope Animated gets to see a season 3, or I'll be one pissed fanboy.

well, i looked for actual numbers regarding ratings, and all i found was a thread on the CN forums where people have posted the nielsen ratings, however, i am not sure how to read them...?

here is the last set someone posted there:

Final K6-11 Ratings for Saturday, June 21, 2008 Cable Networks only (Live + SD Data):

    CARTOON NETWORK 1.8/11 Avg. (7a-1p)
George of the Jungle 1.3/13; Flapjack 1.8/13; Chowder 2.3/14; Blue Dragon 1.6/9; Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl Battle Dimensions 1.8/9; Ben 10: Alien Force 2.4/11; Transformers: Animated 2.2/10; Bakugan 1.7/9; Robotboy 2.0/10; Ben 10: Alien Force 2.0/11; Ben 10: Alien Force 2.2/12

i went back several weeks, and TFA shows up on all these type of show rankings things they have listed. that's good, right? maybe someone else here can decipher what these numbers mean. from what i can tell, the people on the CN ratings thread are more concerned with how CN rates against the other 'kid' networks, not the shows themselves.

also, i know they have been working on season three stuff, whether its been greenlighted or not. lets hope that is a good sign! and maybe some people here are right, they won't greenlight until most of the work is done? i really have no idea how shows are produced on CN, but that seems plausible.

i still think sending a note to CN is a good idea. i mean, i am not a nielsen family, but i do watch the show. and how else will they know??

I already sent my comment to Cartoon Network. We need season 3. Too many questions need to be answered.

what do you mean? its showing up in the listings for the time frame, and has close to the same rating as ben 10 alien force. i am not really sure what the numbers actually mean, and remember this is in comparison to all the shows on all the cable networks at the same time frame.

i wish it was easier to understand...but that is my take on it. i think its doing just fine especially for a week of a re-run.

Many people just watch it online. That probably takes quite a few viewing numbers away from CN.
