Shino, Lafter doesn't make her mobile suits pink. Ironic really that the Shiden is basically pink to begin with, but Shino made his more pink just to have continuity with the Ryusei go. And now the Flauros takes up the mantle of hot pink, with cartoon eyes I bet.

Edit: oh yeah I ordered my first "new" model in months, The NG Rahxephon

I know it's dated, but I have an immense love of that series, and I wanted something a bit more intimate than just buying the hi-spec, so I've been stalking eBay for years for the kit at a decent price

Even then I'm skeptical as it was listed as used, fingers crossed I didn't waste my money

 

That doesn't really change what I said, that just means the source material is to blame.

I really hate when the exclusives are brand-new models and not just scene-specific recolours and such, so then we don't get full-colour versions of the gorgeous boxart.

 

Yeah, the monochrome boxart sucks. And not just BOJ does it.

 

Yeah, I remember Takara used to do that too with some of their exclusives. Most of those were non-canon redecoes though (GF black Fangwolf, Soundblaster, etc)

I know I was pretty shocked when I got my first P Bandai and limited kits. I thought it looked drab with the monochrome box art, but eh. I guess limited stuff can't have everything. The only box art I really liked were the movie release exclusives with movie poster like boxes. Love the Episode 7 box art for the Unicorn Deactivate.

 

speaking of MG Heavyarms.... i havent Heard anything from gginfinite yet... shoud i open the dispute right now or wait...? (just in case i preordered from bbts as well, at least they dont charge me until they get the item)

 

Jesus I'm never using GGInfinite, all I ever hear is how they don't respond to anyone.

 

I've used them once, and i do not think i will ever be again. It took filing a paypal claim to get them to finally ship my order, or respond to my e-mails in general.

 

Hate to beat a dead horse, but don't use GGINFINITE anymore. It's like they don't know how to run a proper online store anymore. I would open up a dispute. You'll either get your money back or get your item shipped.

 

I know they never stock P-Bandai and the like, but Hobby Link Japan is the best online retailer for Gundam I would say. Been using them for years and I've never had an issue.
