I've been looking at this figure a lot, but I haven't bit the bullet yet. I'm waiting for a sale, lol.

Only in for half the day today, so no new deskbot for me. I did take a picture of this guy at the end of December as he was going to be part of a "highlights of 2016" post I wanted to do, but never got around to writing. An incredible set, and possibly my favourite of Combiner Wars.

Picked these five Perfect Effect cassettes up in an auction, didn't know anything about them. In-hand they're just tons of fun! I suspect they'll be a permanent fixture.

I work at TRU so I don't really have a desk and I can't really walk around with my GiGasaurs. I do keep a small bot in my pocket to help me with my plastic crack addiction. Especially since I'm surrounded by plastic goodness five days a week.

    Today's deskbot:

I sure don't miss light piping now that it's not really a thing. I like my figures to look alive, even in dim lighting.

Also, I really should pull off that Autobot symbol that the previous owner stuck on there.

I still have a lot of love for that Prime, just a great well built figure. Really looking forward to the oversized KO of him that's coming out!

That's the thing, eh? Classics Prime just feels so good in hand, that I can forgive the things that really bother me (truck and weapon stylings, the arm guards). For a time, I had thought that CW Prime would fit the bill as it fixed those issues, but the robot mode ended up having its own shortcomings (that tiny head...) and isn't quite right either. So, I'm kinda stuck as to which is the "best" for my collection.

An oversized KO, eh? I'll have to look into that!

These three showed up, and I can't wait to spend some time figuring out their optimal poses:

I love this thread, it makes me smile. I have a TR Gnaw on my desk as well as a S.F. Figuarts Mario. I'll try to remember to take a picture :)

Make sure you check out the #Deskbot hastag on Twitter, there's a lot of activity there every day. Some great pics too.

Here's my Deskbot today, threatening a planet with a Christmas tree decoration...
