It definitely isn’t the same head as the training version like he is trying to say. I have this preordered at BBTS, but am waffling in hopes they make a new one for WW84 as long as that wait will be. They still haven’t quite gotten her likeness for some reason (but neither has 1/12 scale either)
Display space in my current home is limited so I'm house hunting (I'm looking for a better area, not moving to display figures haha). Here are some recent purchases: Dark Knight Armory with Alfred and Bruce Dark Knight Tumbler (Thing is YUGE!!!) and... my HT Gantry is on the way! Wwwwooo!
Good thing that you posted the Royal Guard up @MetalicGrunt. I was just about to load up a review done by Justin's Collection and just saw it. Too bad that they can't add more assessories like the 3.75 inch version or as per the Dark Horse EU comics: Crimson Empire (with the gun, holster, double bladed staff and the hand held detonator). I guess beggers can be choosers..
Well at the lower end of the HT pricepoints, I guess HT realized more people will troop build based on the movie, and thus no need for huge amount of extras
I've never actually bought a Hot Toys release before but have two preorders coming up. Deluxe Wonder Woman's generally listed as October and Hela as October/November; do we have a better idea of when exactly they will drop? I have no idea if they're more scheduled (TakaraTomy, Tamashii Nations) or random (Hasbro, Bluefin, others).
Where did you order them from? They get released in HK first, then hit sideshow, then reach other retailers like BBTS a few weeks/month later.
Awesome! You need a Voltron too! I basically went for this same idea in 6” scale and it has ruined me. Before that I had kept my collecting to transformers.
There's been a wack of new 1/6th reviews done by the guys from Toys TV HK on their YouTube channel in Cantonese and I can't post it all. However I've been waiting on this - Threezero's take on Agent Mulder from X-Files. Edits 2 and 3: Found another review a few hours later and added Fwoosh's as well.
Does anyone here have any insight as to how well the HT Spider-Man figures hold up over time? Like are the suits able to maintain flexible poses for lengthy amounts of time? I achieved platinum for the PS4 game and was considering the HT figure, but if all I can safely do is a basic museum stance, that kinda defeats the idea of Spider-Man to me. Obviously this thread is for 1/6 scale fans so I understand there might be some inherent bias, but truthfully, is it worth the investment? I’d just hate to put it in a dynamic pose only to see the suit rip or get damaged down the line. Thanks in advance!

Not sure about all the suits, but I have the original Rami trilogy spider-man and it has no issues. Also have the current one from Civil War/Homecoming and no issues so far.
