    SilverOptimus' Bee description sounds very appealing, basically what I wanted from a Movie BB to begin with.

    Pity we aren't getting Ironhide/Ratchet/Jazz redone with this style.

    I hope the design looks more like Universe Bee than WFC Bee. The later is just too chubby...I think people will soon miss his aggressive Bayverse design.

    Dude, you're killing me over here. I wanna see it now. It sounds more streamlined and closer to Japanese mecha than your average movie character. I'm sure I'll love the final design, but do you think toys of him will fit in with previous movie toys aesthetically?

    More towards Universe. But, do not worry. Bay look is still noticeable.

    I only saw a render. Didn't see any toys. BUT, I do believe that he'll fit right in with the existing Bayverse toys. Hopefully we'll get a non-battle damaged version. Polished up, clean Beetle version may look amazing.

    This could be a big shift in the TF films, there's been a lot of good buzz, and very different, from the last few films that have come out. I'm more (albeit cautiously) optimistic about this film than I have been about the tf movie franchise in years. I'm genuinely curious to see what comes out, and news like @SilverOptimus 's has only been feeding that.

    Just to clarify. I didn't see a toy. Just movie character renders in 3 or 4 poses. They had a damaged look. Like a worn out old car. Lots of dents, dings and scratches.

    It's neat that this time, the car itself is dented up to match. Usually the robots are battle damaged, but the cars are pristine. There have been a handful of exceptions though.

    With all this buzz around the new design, wouldn't it be something if they actually released an art book for the movie(and then art books for the rest of the movies)? I know it's not exclusively Knight's decision and it's not precedent or anything, but Kubo had an art book and it's amazing.......
