I have the awesome privilege of introducing a fellow TFW member whom some of you already know from his many comments here on Radicons, to you but NOW he is also a Radicon Customizer himself!

We both live very close to each other here in NH and I have taken upon myself to teach Iron-Core upon his request how to paint a transformer. I showed him 'in person' pretty much all of the basics and even some professional techniques as well. And so without further words, here is HIS 100% custom repaint, ROTF Ravage in G1 colorscheme.

It's important to know, Iron_Core completed this custom entirely by himself without any physical assistance of mine, only instructions. HIS idea, HIS custom Ravage...

Pics were taken courtesy of myself using my own light tent...

Not bad. Nice job, Iron Core. Looks like he's been looking for teachers everywhere, you for painting, me for 3D stuff, etc. :lol

Anyways, this is really good. As i always say, battle damage hides a lot of bad paintwork if there is any, and this one certainly looks the part. :)

Well, Iron_Core is literally about 8 miles from me so it was really easy to teach him about customs. He's got some excellent talent and passion for the work too!

He's mentioned you a couple times and I have told him to look you up, which I am glad he did. You do great work with those custom TFs man!

Yeah, he seems to have developed a skill quite similar to mine :)

It was really my pleasure SQ7! From now on though, he'll be on his own to better develop his skills and he'll be photographing and posting up his own customs. I also look forward to checking them out!

    Hey guys, thanks so much.
It's funny, I've watched many of you for so long and now I'm doing it too. Once you start it kind of just sucks you in, I have a lot of fun doing it. Thanks to SON I got to avoid A LOT of aggravation of trying to learn the basics. I owe him a lot. I also received his Nemesis Prime(with the sword) and it is amazing, I'll be posting up pics soon.

G60Force, thanks man, I'm glad you like it.

Treadshot, haha yeah I have been doing a lot of searching for answers. You and SON have helped me out a lot.

Limewire, wow man I can't believe you posted on my first customs. Thanks dude. It's really cool you like it.

Longhaul, hah SON definitely has his own style, hopefully I can develop my own.

Supersuad, yeah he was a big help. Nice dude. I'm working on a small project for him in return, hopefully you guys will see it this week.

    Thanks man.
Yeah I have a lot of cool ideas that I want to do but I want to improve my skills first. That's really why I started too, was because I kept wanting to see this or see that and decided I wanted to do it.

I have another Ravage all ready to get painted that I want to make movie accurate, and then I'll do another completely G1.

Hah thanks so much man, that makes me feel pretty good. Yeah I love your stuff. Thanks for having so much faith in me lol, I'll definitely try not to disappoint! I plan on making one more movie accurate ravage and a complete G1. Trying to test out different styles, ravage is pretty easy to paint so why not. Thanks tho man I really appreciate it.

This goes beyond custom when I looked at the pictures I was bit perplexed by why the photos were in black and white then I noticed the eye. It's like a 2d photo with a black register or a giger painting. Not even Giger could do this with his sculptures. Something tells me he'd be jealous.

I'd take this a bit further and try your hand at sculpting too and painting those. Definitely unique. You've taken something you learned and made it your own.

Wow Fishdirt thanks man. I was actually thinking of trying moldings. I have the programs and I'm working with that but I was gona try hand sculpting too. SON helped me out a lot, I'm just usuing what he taught me and trying to use it as fuel for how I see things. I really appreciate the feedback, thanks man.

SON, hope you like the SIG.
