I hope Bay asks. It would be great to have Nimoy for TF2.

 

Good lord, I hope this is the start of the "Nimoy as Sideswipe!!" campaign.

 

If Bay doesnt ask, the Internet will be thrown into Chaos....

 

I pretty sure this whole thing is shenanigans. At this late in the game, it is likely the movie is being finished up for its premiere in just over a month's time. Be kinda late to negotiate a contract and all the paperwork that it entails.

This whole saga sounds like a publicity stunt.

If you have a problem with the comparatively low pay voice actors get (well, besides Welker, he's expensive) for their work, then call a voice actors guild strike.

Then I suggest you have a cochlear implant installed, because you clearly have serious hearing problems.

Bay could always imagine Nimoy is an explosion. Nothing keeps Bay from going after his explosions.
If Bay isn't going to ask then Nimoy should ask him. All this nonsense is like passing notes around the classroom.

 

I find this problem so pointless and yet so hilarious.

 

As has been said, with only two months to go until its release, the film must be nigh on ready now. Voices have probably been recorded by now. I can't imagine Nimoy allowing his named to be used for nothing.

According to IMDB three years ago, Welker was going to voice Megatron in the 2007 movie...

I can just imagine....

June 27th, 2009: "Oh, did I say I was getting Frank as Soundwave? Oops, I got Leornard Nimoy to do the voice. Oh? you wanted him to voice the Fallen? He's being voiced by Tyrese Gibson."

Michael Bay is hesitant to ask Spock to voice a character in ROTF (The Fallen Specifically)? That's too funny. What is he afraid of, getting put in a Vulcan nerve pinch if he even suggests the idea to Nimoy?

 

Nimoy would probably be able to record hs lines in a day, maybe two. The guy's surely wealthy enough,and I doubt the money would be a problem. Bay needs to lighten up. Like, the lightness of the color in his explosions.

 

Will you voice the fallen? Circle yes or no.  

 

I can't help but think this is all for show, but not in the way people think.

I bet anything that Bay doesn't want Nimoy, but if he didn't at least try to look like he's making an attempt of some sort, the fans would lynch him.

If someone appears to be dragging their feet and making flimsy excuses, they're most likely doing it on purpose.

Think about it this way.

The fans go to Bay and say: "Hey, you're related to Nimoy right? Can't you get him to do a voice?"

Bay thinks: 'Aw crap. That old fart?'

He can't come out and go: "Eh, I'd rather not. I don't want him."

That would piss off the fans, Nimoy, and Bay's mother-in-law or whoever. Major butt-hurt all around.

So instead, Bay goes: "Uuuuhh, well... see, the thing is.... uh... I don't have much I could pay him so.... uh... I don't wanna insult such a, um, fine actor and, yeah..."

Then Nimoy goes: "Dude, I wouldn't mind. Just gotta ask."

I bet Bay is having an "Oh $*!#" fit right about now.
